Gambling is a addiction bad addiction. Few days ago I see a user lost 65BTC and another user 30BTC amd another user 12BTC in a dice site. All those user lost huge huge within 24 hours.

But even if we say that it is a bad addiction, a lot of people are still gambling despite the fact that it will really bring you down to the pit. Regret and depression is one of the most popular effect of gambling to people.

Also, these gambler might be rich so they have nothing to worry about those losses. We don't know what they are thinking losing that great amount to the site but all we know is that they had lost and it is hard to get that back.
I always noticed that greater number of gambler in casinos are that of poor people. Reach people also play gambling but their number is less as compare to rich people. I think that the only reason is that is disappointment and joblessness, which compel people to start plying gambling, from where they can see a chance to make big money in short time but it is very rate and most of the people instead of making some money they lose their own money.

Rich people do gamble not to make money, in contrast to addicts who play and think that they can become rich from gambling, that is what distinguishes them. people who have a purpose for fun will be very easy to stop, in contrast to addicts who are waiting for their money runsout to stop

Guys, I know that many of you have already discussed this issue regarding quitting gambling as it is addictive, and I know that this thread is just like any other one. But forgive me because I am really sick of seeing people committing suicide because they are in big debts. I would like to speak my mind.

So, guys. Quitting gambling has to be done by quitting yourself. What I mean by that statement is that you should no longer be yourself or what you are. You are now a man of greed and addiction. Who was the person you were before you start gambling? Perhaps you were addicted to something else. Perhaps you were just a normal man living a normal life. Now you are a different person. What I want you to do is that you should be aware that gambling too much will make you lose yourself. Second off, you should sit with yourself and write down the negative effects of gambling. Do not be like "What if I win next time, what if I get lucky next time." No, that is not you who is talking but your greed. Do not give yourself false hopes because "What if" is a term used to talk about unreal action in the past or the future. You can neither change the past nor be accurate about what future will be like.

Then you should practice positive self-talk. Fill yourself with positiveness. Have a strong willpower and determination because believe me, once you are committed to something, you will attain it. If you want to give up gambling, then you can do it because other people and I gave it up.
I used to gamble a lot with my friends and I would be lying if I said I did not learn many things. But the negative effects overcame the positive ones. I took a decision to stop gambling. I filled my time with various activities. In time, I started to forget about gambling. It is like moving on. If you want to move on, get yourself from the routine you used to be in. Your brain is functioned about a certain routine. You will find it hard to adapt to the new routine, but believe me, in time you will get used to it.

I hope you guys achieve what you aspire. And I hope this thread will help you, even though I am sure I am going to get negative feedback. But it is okay, I am open to everything. Have a lovely day, Hadoooken!
For me is no . not every people wants to play gambling the others I they want to have a good job to earn money not like that gambling . you can loss or win bit the jobs is there .

It really depend on the person itself. First, if your engaging in casino, you must first think that people will always find a way in order to beat you and get you lose without a profit. Second, you will encounter different people that someday, you might end up with. Lastly, it's like playing your on life. Gambling is like a wheel of death, that even with the slightest error you do, the trick might end up killing the person or destroy it entirely.

How many people get rid of gambling? It is extremely difficult, i think not many people can do that before losing all of their money. My brother has promised many times but he still repeats everything. Everyone has helped and counseled a lot but perhaps only he can help himself.

I think that the only reason is that is disappointment and joblessness, which compel people to start plying gambling, from where they can see a chance to make big money in short time but it is very rate and most of the people instead of making some money they lose their own money.

There's a reason why people are poor and why people are rich.

Poor people keeps on gambling because they are hoping that one day. Some of them keeps on gambling because they simply have nothing better to do. They gamble just to let the time pass. They gamble because it's an entertainment for them even if the money they are losing could have been their lunch tomorrow.

Rich people, on the other hand, has tons of things to do. They are busy socializing with other rich people. They are busy building their own empire. And they do not feel compelled to gamble simply because they know how money works, and they know how to make money work for them. I've talked to a lot of rich people and they all seem to be very busy. They are very competitive and in order to be relevant in their field, they have to always be active. They literally have no time for gambling. They'd rather sleep and relax instead of gamble.

Now that you know this information, would you rather gamble or would you rather use that time making the best out of your life by being the best version of yourself? Gambling's a waste of money and time. Most people are not even having fun when they are gambling.

This is the truth that they can't accept. People have different insecurities, it could be insecurities in a positive way or the other way around, but most of the poor people are insecure because they know someone who is better in gambling and suddenly they wanted to play gambling too, believing that they could make fortune out of it just like the other people they know who got rich in gambling. The point is no matter how you slap the truth on their faces, they just won't budge.

Even though they know the sad truth that they can't win, they are not going to quit gambling, it is like they accepted that it is their fate to be miserable in life, and it is stupid to be that way, there is always a light after the storm, but it seems that weak people don't understand that, they intend to give up instead of fighting back for their own good.

There are still a lot of rich people that gambles for money and not only for fun/entertainment and socializing, some are really addicted to gambling and there are even a lot of stories about this rich people that experienced the effect of this mental disorder. Though, there are three gamblers you can see based on their statuses, the Rich, the poor and other one is in the middle of the two.

Most of the poor people are really wanting to earn money out of gambling, it may be a high risk but it is not possible for them so they keep on trying. The middle are either desperate or having fun and the last are the rich people that don't usually gamble for money but still, there are a lot of them hoping to win their gambling activities.

Those are reality inside this problem, though there's a lots of people who's willing to help and make things good for any individuals who already been addicted to this activity, the person itself should quit his old life to renew a new and prosper one, things are very difficult if you are still in your old self,
logic say that many people who's addicted can only be free from this engagement when they are truly willing to give up their old ways.

maybe we can help an addicted gambler to give advice and stay beside them so we can always remind them to not play gambling. but I think it will better if that person has a strong mind for quitting gambling so what we did to help him can works. it will difficult if only us that keep telling him to quit gambling but he doesn't want to quit gambling. he needs to have a big effort and say that he really needs to quit gambling and not playing gambling again in the future.

I hate this kind of posts pushing people to gamble even more. If the person gambling doesn't have it in them to gamble properly and stop when they should than there is no gain to be held from keep gambling and they should quit gambling while they can and never look back.

If you are trying to bully people to keep gambling while they can't afford to lose anymore and can't make themselves stop than you are doing something horrible and should be ashamed of yourself.

Gambling addiction is real, as real as any other addiction out there, it should not be mocked or forced to anyone and should be helped. If anyone wants help on stopping how to gamble, I am all ears and can listen to you.

The fact remains that psychologically, poor people are there to want to make money easily from gambling and they feel this is the way to hit it big and set themselves free from their poverty shackles, not knowing they are bound to enslave themselves the more.

On the other hand, rich people simply just have so much to waste and blow around, and just find the environment of casino interesting to just wile away their time without much pressure on wanting to win anything and that makes it easy for them to be in control. Quitting gambling is something that has to do with the state of the mind, either rich or poor and anyone finding it difficult definitely has a problem

Yes. It doesn't matter whenever you're rich or poor, as once the addiction comes, it'll be hard to quit the practice of gambling. Most people believe that they'll become rich quick when playing gambling games (especially poor people), and they throw their life savings at them without knowing the risks of doing such practice.

Once they're seen in a troubled situation, they quit gambling, but it'll be too late for them. As for the rich people, they don't care throwing whatever amount of money that have into gambling since they're wealthy. Most of these people become extremely addicted to gambling that it's nearly impossible for them to quit doing such practice.

However, I'd like to advise that if you're seen in a situation where it's hard to recover your financial life, then you should do whatever you can to quit doing gambling at all costs. If you're unable to do so by yourself, then seek professional help. Otherwise, you could end tied up into gambling so much that no one would be able to make you quit. Just my thoughts Grin
