Was about to order a batch of 5 for local resell but the site seems unable to process the Bitcoin payment. Too bad. I experienced same thing yesterday and I emailed him without reply yet I answer you yesterday There is some problems with blockchain.info API (I checked plugin sources and bc.info spec and its seem to be right, but problem witch API still remains ). I don't know that bc.info change some thing or wtf, its just happened from day to day after couple months of non problem working (if some one have some information about this issue PM me please). Because of that I switch some plugin settings and now Bitcoin payment gateway is UP again with before properties = Bitstamp rate -discount % Please be aware that some time your payed order status will not change even after 6+ confirmation, that can be normal because of this bc.info API problems. Every day before shipping we will check all Bitcoin orders status to confirm payment and send them ASAP. Thanks for understanding!

Yes, 4gh/s version is the same device. There is only difference in final chip performance and hashrate(not all chips are the same).

Hey everybody.
I've read that this miner is optimized for USB 3.0 OR for use at an active USB 2.0 Hub.
So is that right? Or will i lose GH/s if i connect it to an USB 2.0 Hub with additional power supply ?!

It's a USB 2.0 miner, but with higher power requirements, so a 2.0 Hub + extra power is just what you need.

Don't think so, prices for all USB miners are presently all hovering in orbit and are highly uncompetitive. Wait for them to adjust but don't expect too much. Like everything in stock on the market, right now every piece of ASIC hardware seems only meant to be profitable for the hardware seller, not the customer by a very far margin. It almost feels like they don't want too many customers at this time for some reason (?). Although I had the cash and the basic incentive, I wouldn't ever consider buying at these prices. I mean it's their business and I'm not to complain - but if they keep them that high for a few more weeks, they'll be 'competing' with cex.io prices quite an achievement...

I racked up on Red Furies and Antminers at really good prices. Want one of these because of the hash per watt is pretty awesome. Ah well, will wait. I'd rather invest in Dualminers but those are also too $$.

The higher your total hashrate the faster you mine and get paid. So if you stack 10 of these you have 50gh/s which will get you more back faster than just one. The same goes for any type of miner. More, bigger, faster the better. Why do people buy multiple of the same product? Does it become ineffective quickly?

The reverse is also true. If you purchased badly and spent more on the device than you'll ever earn back effectively making a loss, then buying 10 of them means you make 10x the loss.

USB miners are easy to setup for newbies. And cryptocoins are not mainstream yet so expect a lot of newbies coming on board everyday.
