For my speculation i think ethereum has a bright future. It has a potential to govern global due to its unstopabble price and its popularity also. If you can check the market it really dominates the market for now.

In my opinion, Ethereum surpassed Bitcoin for innovations. Bitcoin's popularity rests on its authority as the first crypto currency. While the Ether is improving every year. On the other hand, large investors prefer Bitcoin because of its complete decentralization. The BTC not have a management link as an Ethereum, who can, if desired, cancel certain transactions.
Thus, I think Bitcoin will retain its leadership in the crypto-currency world for another 5 years.And Ethereum will remain in second place.
