Not seeing a thread here for TradeOgre.com so I though I'd start one.

Newish exchange, seems to focus on privacy coins, mostly cryptonight alts with tiny volumes.
Biggest markets are ETN-BTC and GRFT-BTC at this point. Seems to cater mostly to miners.

No email address. No way to contact support. whois shows whoisguard was used to hide registrants email address.

Anyone have any experience on this exchange?

An exchange that finds it necessary to hide its whois information should never be trusted. On top of that, I have seen a lot shitcoin exchanges throughout the years, but this one actually deserves a firmly high place on my worst exchanges list. That exchange doesn't even have a TOS or FAQ, which even most of the shitcoin exchanges do have. If you click on sign in, you see an image of a random fantasy monster or whatever it may be, lol. I advise everyone to stay away from that exchange, and just focus on the exchanges we have available already. I don't even know how people manage to find these exchanges, damn, people must be desperate.

I don't have any experience in this site, but I saw it once in coinmarketcap. It is true that there is lack of information, I'm on mobile and I only see Markets and Help. The owners didn't even bother to put some introduction, about the site, FAQ, TOS and worst is that NO SUPPORT information which is really important. I would not be interested in using a site without knowing who to contact with when I encounter a problem.

I doubt that someone in here tried it.

I use this tiny exchange. This exchange are mostly for miners, and they list minerable  low volume coins.
Layout of exchange is very easy to use, and exchange is very fast. I did not have any issue with this exchange, but it is a little bit scary to know that there is no possibility of any support, contact or ticket.
The only contact is Twitter, but I found, that some coin development teams do not found the way how to contact them and arrange the coin listing.
Positive side is that exchange owners recognize the community needs.
Example:
Coin Graft (GRFT), do not give any info or date for exchange listing, even 3 weeks after the ICO was finish. Tradeogre recognize that and made "unsupported" listing of Graft. Now they have around 5 BTC daily volume of GRFT.

My exchange checklist.

Odd domain name: Check.
Whois protection enabled: Check.
Unprofessional design: Check.
Amateurish or nonexistent terms: Check
Domain just recently registered: Check.
Domain registered for 1 year only: Check.
Difficult to contact support of the owner: Check.

It doesn't directly mean this exchange has intentions to scam, but even if this exchange is being operated as fun/hobby 'project', it's not worth using it because of the potential risks you expose yourself to.

Also, not a scam right now doesn't mean it won't be later.

I've used TradeOgre for a while now, they've had some wallet problems (CryptoNote daemons like to get stuck) but their support reply quickly and get it all sorted eventually. The trade volume is pretty low, and the order books are nearly empty with just a few Bitcoins in each pair, but it's nice to mess around with. I am also impressed with their withdraw fee, currently 0.00008180 for Bitcoin and 0.00335328 for Monero.

The other posters are right though, nobody knows who is behind the exchange and they could shut it down and leave with the funds whenever they want. I wouldn't keep more coins in the exchange than I needed to, but then again, I wouldn't do that for any exchange.

It's nothing special. Exchanges using a dynamic fee structure always offer the lowest possible fees. I would even say that 0.00008BTC as withdrawal fee is still on the higher side, even when that exchange doesn't utilize Segwit. The Monero withdrawal fee is indeed much lower than what the far majority of the other exchanges charge for withdrawals. But still, it doesn't justify using such an exchange.

Why would you ever try anything new?

I agree that the fees could be even lower, but it's a real shame that most exchanges leave them high.

When no other exchange lists the coins you need to sell, or maybe cryptopia hasn't fixed their wallet in 3 weeks, then tradeogre will do in a jiffy.  Used it several times now, it is clean and straightforward and easy to use. Also they don't put up with all the bureaucratic nonsense.

Yeah and as few posts above some have already reported missing coins and withdrawal problem. These low volume exchanges always have such problems and are shady. I won't straight out call them scam but being cautious would be a good idea.

Isn't TradeOgre the only coin that lists Graft? You don't really have much choice.

Anyway, if you play with shitcoins, you've gotta play with shit exchanges.
