I concur with ujka that Bitcoin is bigger than PETA. The big picture for Bitcoin is not only in low cost payments and such, but also the amazing applications of the technology that are in the works. I believe this will be a disruptor in the financial markets. That's why there is all this incessant negative press that far outweighs the positive. Being a contrarian investor, I really get excited about these kinds of things.  I have been invested in Bitcoin since Dec. 2012 and love what's happened. I'm in it for the long term and think that PETA-mine is the place to be at the moment. The drop in the price is only an opportunity to buy more and I love to use the tactic of stink bids to do it - but only if the fundamentals are sound. Volatile markets pretty well always deliver.  Smiley
BTW: How about we stop the mud slinging, which is not helpful. These are opinions we are posting and we all have our various reasons for posting them. But they are only opinions. Some of us will win and some of us will loose - that's just the nature of the beast. Mud slinging will not change that and it does not help anyone make better decisions. Constructive input would be more helpful.

CryptX, what is the estimated rate of unit production per week?

in your original estimations you said you could deliver 250TH/s in three weeks, does this still stand?

No reason for this not to stand, they said they had designed a unit capable of 500ths that could be deployed in a matter of weeks.
From their havelock update february 22nd.

Quote
4. Hosting capacity

We own our own datacenter which has currently a capacity up to 750 TH/s, which enables us to deploy very fast and use custom designed hardware. We have engineered a standard unit with a hosting capacity of 500 TH/s, which can be installed fully operational in a matter of weeks. This enables us to expand at a very fast pace.

If the chips are sold, then will the BTC be used to buy more of the new line of chips or simply be used for dividends?

If it is used for dividends then it cannot simply be added to the total mined, as the hosting fee should not apply to the BTC derived from the sale of those chips.

I agree it should be used for buying new hardware. As for those money's initial purpose.

3) How are CryptX making money from this venture?
Isn't $0.45/kwh enough to make money in this project?

Hosting fee is applied based on eletricity consumption of every week, and does not apply on sales, but the amount will be added to weekly dividends:
Quote
The revenue will be added to the total dividend of the week in which all the chips are sold.

Edit:
Anyway, seems like chips are still not sold: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=562075

So after further reading I found a mining pool address: http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/1PETAmNrgdzx3FwzJPNuhx18JVKdGtwWt6

Is this still valid?  If so, why is it only showing 1TH/s?

1) What proof has been given that Bert Valkenborgs and Joeri Cornelissens are who they say they are?
2) Is there proof that the hardware apparently now hashing actually exists?
3) How are CryptX making money from this venture?

1, look at their linkedin profile and the sales history of cryptx. They are legit.
2, yes. http://www.peta-mine.co/stats/ we moved away from eligius.
3, you already found your answer. Above that one of them is selling solarpanels, and the farm uses also solarpanels. So all we need for the farm is being brought to us by other companys that are owned by Bert or Joeri.

So the profit forecast spreadsheet seems to be out of date / inaccurate with all the changes to the plan.  Do we have any profit forecast updates based on recent events?

A confident forecast requires a reliable forecast of the bitcoin price. Good luck.

you dont a spreadsheet to read numbers of this project.

shareprice 0.0667 with marketcap of BTC 5382 with 200 TH is pretty crazy. Let say you take a pretty expensive competitor GHs like cex.io FHA futures for 0.008 GH valid from 26. April than you are at a marketcap of BTC 5600 for the future 700 TH. But when the 500 TH will be added to the project is strong unknown due to bitmine fail of delivering their miner

and the maintance fee is pretty high here, about 30 %, cex.io charging just 20%

however, the pusher here bought the share at the top for 0.10 or higher and want the shareprice go up again, so its a shareholder lovefest  Grin

Our hosting costs are high because the exchange rate is poor for btc at the moment. cex.io maintenance fee is tied to difficulty as well for some reason, but there's is probably lower overall. I don't have a problem with that, because AGAIN, they don't reinvest. It's not really a valid comparison.

- Production of our own systems started and we expect first units to be ready by next week.

YES YES YES I FUCKING LOVE YOU CRYPTX

Thanks for your messages at the bcmine thread. You dont mind they are going to be deleted? There is just no information behind your flammes and hates. Relax, man.

However, as you pushed neo & bee shares very hard, I would like to know how deep you are involved in the criminal involvements behind that 'big scam' company. Besides that I am curious how much of criminal behaviour did you put in petamine? Put your loses on the table.

No worries dude!! Just informing your shareholders of what is the most obvious scam going.

And pushing neo bee shares hard? Lol. Read my post history if you think I was pushing neo bee shares hard. But nvm, I don't expect you to do any actual research before you make a claim

Welcome back though!! This thread was feeling a bit too normal without your BS Cheesy

And FYI, they won't delete my posts. Because I haven't actually lied or spreaded FUD. It's what happens when you run an obvious scam!! People catch on!!!

I must say though, it's lovely watching your scam crash and burn Cheesy

And I have no losses!! Most of my shares were brought pre IPO then I sold them all to E f f e c T when all the bitmine problems started kicking in. But I've since been rebuying them through havelock and off exchange since we stopped depending on them. And im nearly back to my original holdings!!

You can keep spreading FUD here but with our own units coming this week or next, this project is only going up and up!! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
