This is a classic example on how a few ruin it for everyone. Just because there are a few Muslims that are terrorists , doesn't mean every Muslim is or something similar. You are generalising too much about this small threat. There amount of people doing this is just a drop in the ocean and honestly aren't too much of a threat. There's no reason to ban bitcoin, there is however a reason to stay cautious of links and the like.

We Need To Shut Bitcoin And All Other Cryptocurrencies Down. Here's Why.Last week I wrote an article on illicit cryptomining – how hackers are sneaking cryptocurrency transaction processing software onto corporate networks, personal computers, and other devices. I attempted to raise the alarm, calling this threat the most dangerous of 2018. I didn’t go far enough. Upon deeper reflection, the implications of illicit cryptomining are profoundly frightening. Because this type of cyberattack is ‘relatively’ benign – for certain definitions of ‘relatively’ – it’s positioned to run amuck, taking over computers, networks, data centers, and cloud environments around the world. Perhaps there’s a way to stop this insidious infection from killing its host, which is nothing less than the global computing infrastructure. To be sure, cybersecurity vendors are already on the job. In my opinion, however, prevention and mitigation technologies will never work well enough. There’s only one way to slay this beast. We must make all cryptocurrency as we know it today illegal. https://www.forbes.com/sites/jasonbloomberg/2018/03/10/we-need-to-shut-bitcoin-and-all-other-cryptocurrencies-down-heres-why/#496e47a51bca because bitcoin prices are too high nowadays it makes hackers trying to get bitcoin in any way. and I think if the bitcoin price as it used to be in 2009 around 1-2 $ they will not be interested to hack the bitcoin. because the price is very tempting they will keep trying no matter how to get bitcoin. so special handling is needed to provide security about this blockchain technology. so as not to be easily hacked. I think that's the duty of the bitcoin advocates. and exchange to provide super security.

I thought it would not be that fast krypto currency had to end because in the article you wrote you have very despair of crypto currency, you say there is no solution? We need to think positively that all that can be overcome, so before we enter the world of crypto it would be nice that we make KYC,All need effort if the fear of the presence of hackers is a good idea if it makes more stringent security ...

Well that maybe true but that is a bias way of reporting it because there are also legit miners all around the world. Also Before Crypto currency there are already terrorist that are using FIAT does it mean we need to stop using FIAT as well. you just spoke my brain

I don't really see Coin Hive as a big deal, and eventually browsers and virus protection will catch on and allow users to block it, if they haven't already. But I did see that "hackers" -- probably IT department insiders, really -- are secretly installing mining software on government and corporate computers. That is a perhaps a bigger problem, but still not a big threat to anyone, other than in the case of government computers, it is theft of tax payer funds for the extra electricity used. Again, it will be dealt with tweaks to virus software. And from what I've read, such software found to be installed on 1000s of government computers, and the miners made less than <$50.

Where there is a way for people to profit from others they will try. Computer infections like this will not really bother people who have no idea about cryptos and the amount they make from a single person pc may not be alot when all is chained together it can start making huge amounts.

Attack by hackers using bitcoin or attack of yours to the bitcoin technology which you didnt have. Creating FUD like this just so you can buy at a cheaper price? There will be no end to this types of lies just so they could buy. Sorry if you came late but you will have to live with it.
Maybe you can start working for those whales so that they will pay you spreading lies, then you can buy bitcoin yourself.

this article is simply another one of many articles that are intentionally focusing on anything negative and then tries to link them with bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general so that they can reach their main goals. what they are are not clear, my guess is that it is attacking bitcoin because they find it threatening or it is even possible that their goals are to spread as much FUD as they can during the drops so that they can buy cheaper coins in the dip!
|
Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip. Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Those who cannot compete with bitcoin directly are trying to surpass it by hook or by crook and this is why they are we are seeing such nonsense about bitcoin these days. I am sure that those who understand bitcoin and market in deep are not affected by such rumors. Bitcoin is soon going to make to 20,000 dollars and more. We just need to keep supporting it for the public support can only beat bitcoin opponents.

It's much more important to deal with hackers than with cryptocurrency, because cryptocurrency develops the world, and hackers hinder it. Though, people learn things in order to prevent hackers from hacking their customers.

Has anyone ever questioned the motivation of the author?
Why would he waste his time with Bitcoin if he's so disgusted with the idea?
Ever considered the possibility he's making money when the price of Bitcoin goes down, for example by shorting it?

So, this is the only thing that you care about? sorry for that, but terrorism could also be financed with cash, there is no need to blame cryptos for that. And sorry for saying this, but most people did not even know about cryptos five months ago. Bitcoin $1 to $10,000 in 9 years is also dangerous because terrorists, drug dealers and criminals must also be mining or buying Bitcoin since it is decentralized. 50,000 % profit for Bitcoin has given $200,000,000 to North Korea and $30,000,000 to ISIS & ISIL. Bitcoin at $100 looks OK.

Well you have a point but if you really know what you are doing then nothing is to worry about regardless of his motivation, when other concerns about the criminals, then although there is no bitcoin we cannot control nor eliminate them so bitcoin should not put in blame here.
