Another fud to bring the cryptocurencies down. I think we should see this as another attack and bitcoin price may come down because of the way many people on Facebook may interpret this. Bitcoin and blickchain technology can been used for scam but that doesn't mean any other forms of money can also be used for scam and fund raising. Facebook and Microsoft were in favor of bitcoin and other cryptocurencies before but lately there have started to attacked it for the reason best known to them.
Actually, I expected that the banning will take effect this month in which not only Facebook will ban the crypto currencies but also the Twitter and the Google will join the banning too as it was reported early this year but i wonder now that still Crypto currencies can still be seen in these sites in which the social media campaign advertising is still on going without any issues.

There has been many claims about banning issues, or restricting its uses and functionalities. However, I don't think cryptocurrencies are dependent on Facebook alone, or on social media, it can still continue to operate even without the support of social media. Cryptocurrencies are already starting making noise in global market, and I believe that the best media would be us, to spread positive news, its benefits, advantages, and the opportunities they bring on how it could change the way of living.

I think that is a wise decision. However, it is probably just rumors and it seems that you are the one who spread it. Electronic money is the trend of the future. So it's silly to stop it from growing. In addition, some major communications networks have shown signs of paving the way for e-money to grow. Such as Youtube. So, I think there is always bad news at the moment to make the currency fall
It's actually true , many companies such as Facebook and google are banning all the automatic ads that comes to their customer containing cryptocurrencies material and that because their policy doesn't allow putting ads of something that might turn out a huge loss to their users . It's still possible tho to make posts or facebook pages/events for cryptocurrencies where the people who are managing them are known , but cryptos appearing in the side bar ads space is no longer possible .

Yes I also here that news but I don't think it really ban it all because I see more currency that are advertising their campaign to introduced to some investors to joined them. And usually see it in some of my social media online that's why it is not that bad at all to make some move like that to get ban some currency but not all.

Not only facebook also Google but the first who implement on banning cryptocurrency ads is facebook and followed by google with the both reason of unregulated and also addictive to users among with the gamblers and also states that speculative. So now they wouldnt accept crypto in their business, though we cant fight back that because now it is not really regulated , the main purpose they done that is they need a legit that will or could help their user if they saw it in the ads.

That is also what i had noticed nowadays. It has been strict since the official bannong happen on Facebook. Although we cannot really complain by it, and i don't know also if they got paid for it by promoting, there are also some other factors they need to consider, and maybe the fear of losing some of their customers is one of the most frightening nightmare they can have.

Facebook and other forms of social media have the highest potential to gain a huge number of audience. Negative news about cryptocurrency or media influence can have a bad impact and could change the view of people about the real nature of cryptocurrencies. On the other hand, we must also realize that cryptocurrency does not only depend on facebook, it can gain participants and can still function even without it.

WASHINGTON- Facebook says it is banning all ads related to cryptocurrencies in an effort to fight scams. The social media giant said it is barring ads for "financial products and services that are frequently associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices, such as binary options, initial coin offerings, and cryptocurrency." Initial coin offerings or ICOs are a way for companies to raise funds by selling investors cryptographic assets. Fraud is common in the world of red-hot digital currencies such as bitcoin. This week, for instance, the US Securities and Exchange Commission shut down an initial coin offering by a Texas company called AriseBank. AriseBank was accused of relying on celebrity endorsers such as boxer Evander Holyfield and social media to cheat investors out of $600 million of its goal of $1 billion for a currency it called "AriseCoin." In a blog post announcing the news, Facebook product management director Rob Leathern hinted that Facebook may modify the new policy at some point to allow bona fide crypto-related businesses to advertise again. "We want people to continue to discover and learn about new products and services through Facebook ads without fear of scams or deception," Leathern wrote. "That said, there are many companies who are advertising binary options, ICOs and cryptocurrencies that are not currently operating in good faith." "This policy is intentionally broad while we work to better detect deceptive and misleading advertising practices, and enforcement will begin to ramp up across our platforms including Facebook, Audience Network and Instagram. We will revisit this policy and how we enforce it as our signals improve," he added. read more here : http://news.abs-cbn.com/overseas/01/23/18/facebook-admits-social-media-threat-to-democracyThat’s true. Recently I haven’t been seeing ads on Facebook that are related to cryptocurrencies 😑. If it was before, at least 10% of the times when I log into Facebook I would always see an advert for cryptocurrencies. That’s the kind of problems scammers can always cause, now it has led to this. Scammers are also the reason why most countries are against Bitcoin, but ending Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies doesn’t solve the issue with scam. I hope they find a way to resolve this issue.

Yes I have heard about that but, it is only about paid advertisement that you can order from them, they can not for big people I mean bounty hunters to repost and post their interests in ico's, because this would be a chaos!

Why and why I just played in crypto just know me. Though this is a good potential for the public to know the status of the crypto where they recognize every second of it in this modern era. So that in the future all will understand what a promising, money-making world of crypto is.
Very sorry once sorry if I am wrong to say please detail more clear info may be mostly fraud so facebook does not accept it may happen because I also do not want to be deceived

You're right, as of this very moment their is no such any memorandum or any evidence that the crypto currencies was banned in facebook since many ICO project have a Facebook campaign which it's really give big help to those project endorsing their different advocacy, platforms and features that might give big helps them to attract those probable investors in here in the cyberworld.

yeah i think its a fudd people dont hesitate to use facebook to promote or advertise bitcoin and other altcoin. Actually many are ban on Facebook,it's OK to promote ICOs and project but the other users is abusing it's use as spamming of post so you need to be careful when you use Facebook to promote follow the rules to avoid abandonment of your account.

Facebook is not the only place where you can advertise crypto currency. They will incur large losses. People will still look for information about the crypt.

I think Facebook prohibits cryptocurrency advertising because of various pressures. Because too many people complain about cryptocurrency scams, and the government has no clear laws to deal with, companies can only ban first to respond.

Yes, so far there is a major disadvantage to electronic money, now the number of facebook users is quite high. So if electronic money is banned on it then it is a disadvantage, electronic money difficult to access to investors.
