Pretty good list there, even caught the commission structure of BitPanda (which I am now using with increasing frequency) except that you only get the 2.5 EUR for a Gold verified customer (that's the highest level). You get a lifetime 5% on fees... it's really not worth if you're just referring a few people but there you go.

Anyone actively promoting any of the above for their affiliate program?

You'll find almost any site that provides reviews of these exchanges using aff links. Most try a sort of cashback programme so people earn back a bit of their fees. Can't imagine all the hassle is worth anyone's time, but I'm not a whale so I wouldn't know. My early internet life was spent promoting a lot of affiliate programs, made some good income when things like these were still new. Powerful network effect I guess. Almost forgot about this little earning niche for crypto - I know a lot of early gamblers who made loads of Bitcoin from casino referrals. The only guaranteed profit in gambling, almost...

Depending on your involvement in the community and how dedicated you are to promote, you can make quite a bit of coin from referrals. I found the best way (on my websites) is to offer a choice to the reader. Usually it will be like:

Article about crypto and exchanging, etc. At the end for the links I always use this format

Quote
Links:
If you enjoy this site's content here is the referral link: {insert referral link}. Referral links help keep this site alive {or something along those lines}
If you'd rather not use a referral link, or you don't like the content: {insert non-affiliate link to site}.

Obviously it is shorter than that or an explanation is given before the links, but you would be surprised at how many people will click the referral link over the non-ref link simply because you gave them a choice. People like to have choices, and when you give them one, instead of hiding the reflink, they will often click your ref link in return. Also many ref links give a bonus to the person who signs up also, so win-win.

Cheers,

MisterCoin-

Thank you for the list. It definitely surprised me when there were so many exchanges with affiliate programs around. There are some exchanges that I would definitely avoid though such as xcoins and yobit, because the former deals with extremely high risk payment methods, and the latter is just a semi-functional exchange with no support and problems arising everywhere.

Not sure if this would fit, but I'm sure that most people that uses bitcoin probably initially bought some BTC from virwox.

They have a referral program too, according to the page here: https://www.virwox.com/vpn_help.php#_referral_fee. You get 20% of the commissions of your direct referrals, and 20% of any referral earnings made by your direct referrals.

Very comprehensive list. I think it'll be help a lot of people for sure.

Instead of just posting a short introduction for each of the exchanges, I think it'll make more sense to have a review section for each exchange as well. Perhaps have a rank for the exchanges as well. People then can get a better idea of which exchange to use if they do have the tools to get the required referrals.

But to be honest, unless you own a popular crypto related website or have a lot of friends and family who are interested in trading cryptos, you're probably not going to make anything worthwhile from these affiliate programs. Not saying that you can't, it's just really hard to do it and could waste a lot of your time & effort trying to recruit people.

ICE3X is an exchange in South Africa which have just launched crypto only trading pairs. From what I can see it pays the highest affiliate fees, although I think this will probably change when liquidity increases.

If people consider faucet payouts to be worthwhile, then this is too. On top of that, most people do everything at once (i.e. bounty, faucet, captcha, referral, etc) which results in more interesting amounts at the end of the ride when everything has accumulated. At the very beginning I thought exactly like how most people nowadays think when it comes to similar ways of 'earning' small bits, but there are thousands and thousands of people finding these amounts sufficient enough to allocate time and effort for, especially when it comes to people from third world countries. Different people means different standards....
