Waves and ripple are very good coins so you do not have to depend on bitcoin. But if you also buy other risky altcoins, you should buy bitcoin.

I know all coins are also at risk, but I just want to know your opinion. between waves and ripples, which coins should I hold to be a bitcoin companion. I chose between one of those coins for my future grip and made it a coin handle to be the bitcoin companion I bought.

should I keep both of them in a situation like this? I hold WAVES and RIPPLE. actually I do not panic, but just want to hold just one of the coins that I call. WAVES or RIPPLE should I remove? and what do you think the coins I hold are very dependent on bitcoin?
Why to cut one of them if they're going pump in no time, don't cut your losses by selling one of your coins instead buy more coins from the market bloodbath, it's a sale period to buy discounted price of most of the altcoins.

Are you referring to the Mt Gox attorney who keeps dumping BTC?  I thought that was last week.  Hoping he had stopped for a while.
The trustee is just resting for a while in a bed of million dollars throwing like a sheet of paper in the air waiting for another 20k pump or more before selling again, man that is a huge amount worth 400 million dollars of bitcoin and 45 million worth of BCH all because of the word panic.

I prefer relatively new coins like Arcblock Token, Cybermiles, Simple Token, Raiden Network.
These are some of them. They are not older than 3 months and their price is not expensive. Every one of them has a very good team and a great idea.
