Hi all,

I have a problem; 2 Miners /6 GPUs each/, 2 power supplies 750W per Miner.
2 Miners together take less than 1500W.
It is connected to power extension for the current C16 fuse (earlier it was B16 and was changed to exclude something). 16 Amper.
Miners work normally, both. Until I turn off the extension or one of the Miners will freeze (then it also ends with turning off the extension out of electricity).

In addition, the same situation would be if I cut off the remote socket on WiFi which I planned to install.

After switching ON the extension -> it breaks the plugs, it just breaks the previously mentioned C16 fuse.

I need to put it back again manually.
After that, to properly start the Miners - I need to unload the capacitors on disconnected cables by pressing the power Miner button.
Only then, it does start and work without problem.
So I have no idea then... why...

What could be the reason ? Where to look for a fault? What to check?

Poor Risers? Replace the Risers?

Thank you in advance.

Knocking out fuses:
*Overload
*You have a short somewhere

Don't know really what else to say, not an electrician by any means.

If a circuit is overloaded, meaning beyond the preset amount of amps labeled on the fuse, the fuse blows (or opens the circuit) to protect the wires from breaking down and burning. Electrical shorts also cause fuse failure. An electrical short can be from the hot wire to ground or a hot wire to neutral.

Sounds like you have to check your rig and all the connections.

Merit me or don't.

try with 4 gpus on each miner if it works  it is an overload issue

I know sometimes  gpus turn on at 100% not say the 70% setting you may have.

so 4 gpus each should keep you under overload.

Don't know really what else to say, not an electrician by any means.
Even with just basic knowledge about electricity when it comes on constant blow of fuses do significantly means short circuit and  overload. To avoid please check all connections and might able to find the cause of the problem.Reinstall if possible.

If a circuit is overloaded, meaning beyond the preset amount of amps labeled on the fuse, the fuse blows (or opens the circuit) to protect the wires from breaking down and burning. Don't try to copy paste same comments all over again on this board in different threads since it do have different issues.I have seen similar content of yours into other threads.

I will try.

Do you mean about overload the electricity installation at the place
Or you mean the overload of PSU's ?

There is 2x Gold Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB 750W per Miner.

The problem is only when for some reason they shut down or freeze.
After that when I try to turn on again, they blow the C type 16 Amps fuse.

When I manage to put them on [the miners], they work very well.

I said sometimes the software settings on the gpu's fail and they draw full power. your freeze and then when you go to turn the gear on it blows the fuse.

I want to see if it happens with 4 gpus  on each rig.

If it never fucks up with four cards we can go to next test.
which would I would let you know what to do if 4 + 4 just run.

over 11 to 14
possible issues here

1) a bad riser
2) 6 gpus are too much for a psu
3) you are dropping your driver settings and gpus are going to 100%
4) one bad card
5) bad bios flash if they are amd
6) shitty settings for voltage
7) if all 12 cards are not the same one may cause a conflict --- gigabyte cards sometimes do this as do some asus.
8 ) bad internet connection
9) cards are slowly overheating
10) 1 psu is defective and can not handle the load once it gets too warm.
11) cable short
12) mobo short
13) something I missed

I am testing for number 2 first.

Are any other devices on that C16 circuit?  Lights?  Ceiling fans?  Does it share any outlets with another room?

What is the voltage of C16 circuit? Power supplies input voltage?
Are you using any sort of extension cord to get power to the miners?
What are the cards?

Voltage is european 230V, if that is what you mean.
Extension cord Brennenstuhl Premium-Line 16A/3600W. (but tried with another extension -> the same situation).
To this 2 miners are connected, both with 2 PSUs, so 4 wires in total for the extension.
Cards are Asus Dual OC RX580 8GB.
