Hello,

Looking some advice on step 6, I'm using the BTC Guild guide on how to setup the usb block eruptors.

Heres the guide im using: https://btcguild.com/index.php?page=support&section=blockerupter

I get this error message when I click on OK on step 6. I have tried very carefully, multiple times to enter the info in the target box:

Please help Smiley

you did your quotes wrong. put double quotes before C:\, and after 3333.

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

Make a new text file, copy and paste this text into the file. Make sure to remove the "" marks.

"bfgminer -o stratum.btcguild.com:3333 -u tommybstring_1 -p 123 --disable-gpu -S all"

Save the file as start.bat, then save it in the same folder as your shortcut. Click this file to start mining.

You may need to change windows settings to show file extentions for known file types...

Please DO NOT send me private messages asking for help setting up GPU miners. I will not respond!!!

Thank you both for the good information. I got it working with the batch file Smiley

Yeah, you don't need or want all that icarus shit.  bfgminer.exe <pool stuff> -S erupter:all is all you need.  Even the -G isn't required, as GPU mining is disabled by default on BFG 3.3.0

You want to upgrade from 3.1.4 - 3.3 is far better.
