Dear all,
i finally have received my minirig from BFL but I cannot mine with it.

The easyminer app in the nexus states "active processors 0" and connecting the minirig to the PC does not do anything.

Do I have to do something regarding setup/configuration or is my minirig simply broken???

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

check your drivers.

then check the minirig, maybe you got the fabled "box of fans"

Its not broken. You must get the driver. Google for it. I think bitminter have the link at their java miner client too.

I suggest reinstalling the driver then, usually its driver problem.

tried this multiple times and also on multiple computers. I am quite sure it is not the driver.

I can give you teamviewer access to one of my PCs, fix it for me and earn 1 BTC ;-)

Also even on the nexus 7 he does not find anything

I asume you have opened it up and checked that none of the cables have come adrift during shipping ?

i think he was referring to cables inside the unit. last time i saw pictures of a minirig interior, wiring was a mess of hotglue, zipties, electrical tape, and velcro tape. im hoping they are improved since, but its possible an internal power or usb cable popped free.

when you plug it in and turn it on, what happens? are the fans spinning, nexus turning on, heat being produced, etc? there are a hundred different reasons why it might not connect, but with a little more info it can be narrowed down to 5 or fewer

well i turn on the PSUs the fans are going, but there is no heat produced. There is a power-fan switch. when i press this it is getting really load. on the boards I can see plenty of red lights.

At the beginning the nexus showed a "system update" which i installed.

after that it rebooted but no active devices showed when i start the easyminer.

Now the battery of the nexus run empty as i did not power the rig for one day. I am unable to restart it as i cannot access the power button.

When i connect to the PC nothing hapens and even with this Zadic software no minirig shows up, i tried to connect to multiple computers. Mz last explanation is, that my USB cable simply is broken.

I did not open the device to look inside, as i dont want to lose warranty

if you plug the rig into the wall and power it on does the tablet charge?
if the tablet isnt charging then im going to assume that the BFL crew forgot to connect a few wires up..
also as far as i know BFL allow you to open the device as this is part of basic maintenance. if they didnt allow you to open it up then they would have mass amounts of returns due to silly mistakes.

also i think its a dual PSU so are you plugging both PSUs in and turning them both on?

solved the issue the USB connector on the front inside was unplugged from transport. I opened the case and now it works
