Beliefs? Can't you see how unpredictable it is? The best you can do it's to look at the trend from the years before at the same period you are at the moment of the search. And of course use your own best judgement. Use common sense. Otherwise it's like the lottery.
Also: for the people giving into panic - there are a lot of people very happy because of this. Not only price goes down, allowing them to buy cheap but there are less people controlling BTC which, for them, it's a good thing.

Bitcoin actually is not recommended for short-term investments as it mostly stays way more stable at points than other cryptocurrencies, which as a result won't earn you what you want from it in short-term. People use Bitcoin for long-term investments because they believe it will eventually override its current value and will be worth more in a later time. So if someone is looking for short-term profits they might want to trade altcoins which keep changing their values every day, even every hour in some cases. If done precisely, someone can earn a good amount every day with altcoin trading.

Why move so suddenly if you can wait and watch the bitcoin to move upwards. Bitcoin is time consumer but when it gives you profits back then it gives you a lot of it. So in general terms Im saying that you should have some more patience and im pretty sure that there would more than 100 answers who will be telling you the same thing. It just so true because it is more or less personal experience which talk like that. 

Altcoins are even worse currently and they are worst than bitcoin for sure. Altcoins usually gain very less volume and thus it gets difficult to predict whether they will even boost or not. The dependency of alts on bitcoin makes it difficult.

In few months of time bitcoin will cross 13-14K rates and thats the truth about it.

There's no way we can predict the price in the market. That's it. We don't hold the markets value because it all depends on the buyers and sellers the more people selling the bitcoin the lower its price but the more people buy bitcoin the higher its price, I think that's the best explanation i can give.

So to conclude, There's no way you can predict any cryptocurrency price you just need to believe in your investment and hodl for a long time before you can earn. There's always risk in regards with investment so you should invest only what you can afford to lose.

I think you should move to the other cryptocurrencies for now. The price was following an uptrend until the news of Binance and the 400mn $ dump came out.
Your safe bet would be to look at a few ICOs on offering as of now. Study in detail about their project. Look at the team members, study their profiles, and the whitepaper. Once that is done, evaluate which coin is the most promising one and invest in it. I am sure that this would give you better returns than investing in BTC.
P.S - This advice is only for the short term prediction and not the long term advice.

Currently I have invested in a ICO project 0.5 BTC ( www.orbistransfer.com ). I think this could solve all the Bitcoins problems , I see more and more people distrusting the bitcoin currency . Even people that are not very familliar with crypto heard the news and are skeptic .

Okay, after getting battered to a bloody pulp on every bounce, bulls have finally mustered the strongest reaction we've seen in a month. That's a large 4H bullish engulfing. And the best part is it's on very low volume. That suggests that bears are in disbelief, usually a very bullish sign. They aren't fading this move (yet).



Shorts are extremely high. Lots of late shorts to squeeze. And my feeling on sentiment is that bulls have been punished enough and people are bearish enough that we can probably go to $14,000 now.

I agree that maybe the short term price is around $9K-$10. Maybe at the end of the week we will see around that ball park price. Specially that we are riding in a 2 day price increase.

In fact, only those who do not actually have knowledge of how the market has been for a while now with respect to alt will be moving into other cryptocurrencies.

I believe all these FUDs about regulation will die down and apparently may change a lot of things, but we really need something to gear in some buying momentum in the market as it is right now. Fiat just seems more like a safe place now like you have said until further notice. Probably what the governments want to achieve from all these.

Short term prediction should be based on some specific event. OP must think about that. Can anyone ever give a precise prediction ? This is a market and we can only respond to whatever the market gives us one day at a time, but predicting what will happen in the future is one thing no one can know. Moreover, moving to other cryptocurrencies will not be the solution to anything. Apparently, you have not watched the market closely to know what happens to the altcoins once bitcoin is going down.

Jumping into another alt right now is even more like jumping from frying pan into fire as they are all beaten as well and this is a wide correction going on in the market and it affects every other cryptocurrencies with bitcoin being on the leading front. I remember like 3-4 weeks ago prices went down to around $6500-$6800 and people were hysterical. Based from that experience, I observed that most people that invested into bitcoin are not knowledgeable about its natural tendencies in the market. Volatility in the price is something that happens naturally in the market due to having no regulation at all.
You are definitely right that holding your investments may give you the opportunity to sell them at a higher price given the right time. Price is still slow bleeding and stair-stepping down. Unfortunately, I'm noticing a lot of bullish/hopeful sentiment and also a lot of knife-catching calls. Very difficult and a high one as we can hardly see simply holding in down market is a test for patience. However, no one can really say what can happen or not since we would not have thought, bitcoin would even get lower than $10000 and a lot of experts even thought that $10000 will be a strong support but there we go brewing past it like it was nothing and then we kept rolling down.

Price is still slow bleeding and stair-stepping down. Unfortunately, I'm noticing a lot of bullish/hopeful sentiment and also a lot of knife-catching calls. A lot of seasoned altcoiners also (finally) proclaimed that alt season was upon us. Sentiment-wise, none of this bodes well for bulls right now.

As I said the other day, the picture isn't bullish until and unless bulls take $9,000. Zoinky (an old hand from these parts) puts it at $9,500. Now he's looking for $3,900. He also says:

Officially under quarterly future's multi-year support trend. 50 MA is under 200 MA. Algos may start kicking.

All in all, things look very grim. It's possible that bulls come in and show strength, but I've yet to observe any yet.

Normally I don't like to do EW on short-term charts, but I think we have enough here to make some educated guesses.



There's good news and bad news here. Good news first. There's still a good possibility that the leg down from $9,177 is corrective. The potential C/III wave is shallow, making a III wave unlikely unless we see a real selloff soon. That means the $7,240 low could still have been the start of a corrective wave up to new highs > $11,800 (bull trap). The lower degree Wave 4 is a pretty clear running triangle, indicating a penultimate move. We should be finding a local low soon.

The bad news..... the 1-week and 1-month charts look like shit. We're below trends and MAs that have acted as support for two or three years. If we make new lows < $7,240 then the above scenario becomes unlikely (expanding flats, etc. are rare). In that case, things could get stay very ugly for a while.

For the short term.. it looks like it's not ensuring/promising high profit, I think is more suitable for the long term. Anyhow this time it seems that the price movement looks still stuck and slowly by the various things that affect it. We just don't take a riskier or less promising decision if the circumstances telling to the other decision rather than we take.

it's hard to predict the current bitcoin, the market is so not conducive. let alone some restrictions being one of the trends that degrade crypto market. bitcoin is very sensitive to rumors. because in it there is a lot of panic from investors who have not experienced. so, I guess I can only monitor market movements before assuming and speculation

The fact is that last year they also got a good profit, But today we see a completely different situation. Practically all of 2018 can be similar to today's state of affairs. The earnings of a huge fortune in one click may not be a dream.

The selloff was brutal, and obviously the above scenario was invalidated. There's not much point generating any more bullish hypotheticals right now. Not until bulls show some signs of life. They look completely battered. The coins I didn't hedge....feeling the pain right now!

We need to take out the $9,177 high to breath life back into this chart... not sure how likely that is right now.

I don't know how much time you consider short-term, but World Cup Russia can helps Bitcoin to rise again if the publicity is done rightly. I have seen some hotels will accept Bitcoin as payment method. If more services follow the trend, we can see demand increasing fast in a small time interval. There is a lot of potential on it, many different countries involved, all the world focused on it... I think there will be enough strength to boost BTC to $10.000 again.

I think if you intended to sell then you so late to the party you might as well come back next week. I dont know it wont drop further but theres fair reason it could rest in this area. Usually with bitcoin Im surprised how fast it came back or why its so negative and then later theres some news to explain why. Generally its volatile and heading off in either direction at great pace. I will probably wait and see, I did expect a bounce but I think alot of selling is to do with taxes etc. So thats till mid next week

You can also try other cryptocurrencies not only bitcoin, who knows maybe you can earn more in a certain crypto you've chosen and I also think that short term predictions is too risky instead of growing your own coins you might end up losing it.
