I have removed this tutorial due to a huge increase in the number of pointless bots on DogeChat that are nothing but clones of this example code written by totally inexperienced programmers who end up asking me to write the whole thing for them and asking me why it won't work when they made changes to app.js when I told them not to in this tutorial.
Anyhow, instead I have made a Node.JS module that you can install using npm and it can be found here:
https://github.com/cainy393/DogeChat-Bot.The documentation should be enough for you to get something going. If you need actual help and are not an inexperienced coder trying to make a bot without any knowledge of programming then feel free to contact me with your questions

Please note when making a bot for DogeChat:
- A bot account MUST have a username ending in bot.
- Bot accounts must be registered as bots - contact a moderator on DogeChat to arrange this.
- A bot must not make more than 2 sequential unprompted messages.
