March 15
@ 11:30am- Unable to log-in, I emailed Nitrogen  
March 15 @ 10:18pm- Alec from Nitrogen replies "Are you still having problems to log in?"
March 15 @ 11:03pm- I respond that I still can't log-in
March 15 @ 11:04pm- Nitrogen sends security questions
March 15 @ 11:10pm- I reply answering every security question, leaving "email" blank because
a)  I have been in communication with Nitrogen on my current email
b)  I put in a random email account (something that I honestly don't recall).  
c)  Again, I have been in communication with Nitrogen on another email account.

March 17 @ 7:46am- Saul responds with this email:

At this point it's getting ridiculous and I'm hoping Nitrogen does the right thing:







Summary
-Nitrogen emailed me security questions, I replied with the answers from that same email address.
-Knowing that I don't have access to the email on file (and even though I was already emailed security questions to a different email), Nitrogen is now telling me to resubmit the answers from the email they know I don't have on file.

As of recent, there have been many people claiming that Nitrogen has been getting away with this, but I will not be one of those people.
I have done nothing wrong to warrant this type of behavior and as I have demonstrated, Nitrogen is trying to muscle me around.

Did you login from a new IP/PC?
Perhaps you triggered some system so it froze the account so a hacker can't abuse it

Don't know why we are seeing blocks like this from one of my favorite sportsbook, I think I have also seen another accusation thread against them yesterday but couldn't believe this is becoming quite common for many others too.

Nope, same IP/PC.

I'm hoping they froze my account since I changed my password, but why can't I log-in now?

Last night, I changed my PW and for about 15 minutes, I was unable to log-in as it was "busy."

Eventually, I was able to log-in.

Now today, it appears as if I am banned, since I can't even create new credentials.

I am hoping this is just a security measure they are taking, because nothing has changed since last night.

I emailed Nitrogen this morning and to no reply.  

I have emails from Nitrogen dating back to 2014, so they know who I am.

Once my account is unlocked, I will delete this thread.

It obviously had to trigger something in their system when the password was changed.
I do not know what security protocol they enable to do this but it should only take a support ticket to resolve a log in issue.
If it does take something more than this, then I find that strange.
A member since 2014 shouldn't have a problem with changing their password if they want to. Embarrassed

As long as those standard security questions been given out then there no need to worry.All you do need is to sip out some coffee while waiting. Cool Hope your account would be unfrozen and would have the accessibility once again. If the problem is resolved then better to lock this thread as you said earlier.

Changing up the password and locking the account might be their security procedures since the account is already long time registered.

representatives of nitrogen have emerged, I hope this problem will soon be over, considering I am a fixed player in nitrogen maybe this will be one reflection for me to be more careful to change the password if that is the reason it triggers your account in the key. waiting for the latest update of this thread

Similiar situation happened with me in a different matter.

A few years ago when Bitcointalk forum was hacked. My email and username and password were leaked everywhere.

And every once in a while someone tried to use my login in different Bitcoin services like exchanges or pool.

And after like 2-3 login attempts my account ended up being locked as a security measure. And even I couldn't login.

Hence now I use a different email and different username to prevent this from happening again in the future.

Going on 10 hours since I responded to Nitrogen's email and I'm still locked out of my account.  Undecided

I'm hoping this won't be an issue in the future for anyone else looking to change their password.

The whole situation sucks and if Nitrogen cares about its original players, they better get this taken care of today

I just want to add here, I tried to withdraw my funds few days ago and after an hour it is still pending and I asked the support to just cancel my withdrawl, they did and after few minutes I got my account frozen for multi accounting but obviously I don't have any other account on nitrogen so this is quite a surprise to me. I am waiting for few days now for them to solve the issue

You know the problem with big sites? Support gets slow. Look at how a user has to resort to making a thread here to get a response. I personally think it's not good practice for users but since he got his response finally, I guess you can't blame users for trying. My take on Nitro: respectable, a lot of happy players... but can't seem to shake the feeling you get whenever you see threads like this. I think we all miss DirectBet, don't we? You bet, and winnings are instantly returned. No fuss about deposits and accounts. Someone please bring a service like that back!

Nitrogen seems to reply quicker if I don't have their competitor's signature in my profile.

While that's unfair and wrong, I'm going to remove my signature in hopes they unlock my account quicker.

You know the problem with big sites? Support gets slow. Look at how a user has to resort to making a thread here to get a response. I personally think it's not good practice for users but since he got his response finally, I guess you can't blame users for trying. Going on 15 hours since I immediately replied to Nitrogen, and am still locked out.

I wonder why Nitrogen would take so long to resolve this issue.

I submitted my security answers over 24 hours ago.
The last time I submitted security answers (Nitrogen needed to verify who I was) my account was unlocked much quicker. 

I have some bets/parlays that will settle tomorrow, and I was planning on using my free 2 week withdrawal (I paid .0005 BTC a few days ago).

I need some answers Nitrogen.

I don't think that you can call it a problem anymore. If you count big sites such as Facebook and Twitter and tried their support for account recover you will experience weeks or even months without the problem being fixed. So I could say that this sites really have slow tech support as they cannot cater all their members even if their database is electronic any automatic as they need to solve things manually on their part.

Glad it worked out the best way for you. I am a long time user in Nitrogen and never had encountered any problems with them. Lately they are processing withdrawals a bit slower in order to check and confirm everything. I always use to deposit money from my same bitcoin address but when I withdraw I use different addresses and until now every withdrawal I have received within few hours after requesting. I never changed my password and I always log in from the same IP.

For everyone who said that says that 'they never warrant anything' to trigger security system etc. - there is always something.

For example:

1. You might have to try to log in with different IP than normal.
2. You might have used some random/temporary email as your account and then went on a killing spree betting thousands of dollars.
3. You won big amount of money which is another trigger to start verification process by the service.
4. Your pattern of betting changed dramatically and this raised security concerns.

PS. It's nice that your account has been whitelisted and everything is fine at this point.

Going through a similar issue and was weary of logging out because I thought they might do something sneaky and now I can confirm it.

I am new to Nitrogensports and won some money on a poker freeroll and played and bet on the site till today,when I tried to withdraw to another site for a bit before returning funds back to use. But my transaction was canceled and they sent me a message in their ticket system when I was going to ask why,I found it.
So they asked me what my connection is with two other accounts and warned me multiaccounting is taken seriously and I need to respond quickly to Roy. I respond within 5 minutes explaining I use a free hotspot vpn and that sometimes I have trouble logging on to their site due to competing players trying to register with the limited free ip addresses. A hour goes by and no response back. So I contact them again after googling the issue(I had not logged out during this time). I gave them a email and connected my phone and told them I was worried and stressed after reading players in similar situations. They stated they would forward this and it could take 72 hours which seems long and its a long weekend here.
I explain I am sorry for being hot over this and understand the need but I do not see what I can do to prove anything and will wait for them to sort it out. Log off and come back 3 hours later to check tickets but my password does not work and it just sits there. So now I have no access to any proof the conversation took place,lost my funds and its basically a nice way for them to rob players.

Cheating is bad in poker but I think its crazy to just throw accusations out without giving a person a fair stage to prove they where innocent.
No where does it state "using a vpn will get you banned"! Its crazy that they can just steal in this fashion and I will continue to alert people in the future of a site that appears good but try taking funds out before over investing.

I also miss out on the 100 hand which cost me money because I suck at poker. So I am puzzled and weary of signing up to any other bitcoin poker site. Just a heads up because it shocked me.

Search google; its a ongoing issue and anything that is not standard practice should be scrutinized when peoples personal funds are involved.
Think of this as a way for a company to prove they go above and beyond, its a great way to drum up business by showing they take situations seriously. If they fail to respond it tells you they do not care or lack resources to do the proper job.
Acting like a kid is not a fair remark as his money was at risk. The key to the issue seems to be communication and feedback is necessary for anyone wanting to develop their business good or bad.

This thread also helped me as I could not find a Nitrogensports page right away and it spoke to my current issue.
