I came across an article recently. Google is joining Facebook and Twitter to ban all crypto related ads. Why does everyone seem to want to frustrate crytocurrency?
It's now because they are against crypto or anything. Mostly the reason for banning the ads was to stop the scam ico ads. And talking about Twitter, have you seen the scams going on there, every tweet related to crypto has the ETH scam reply.

They're not "frustrating cryptocurrency". They're just trying to block scams. There are loads of places where you can get free accurate info about bitcoin and other cryptocurrences. So no-one needs to take out ads, apart from the phishing sites...

As far as i know they (google) have actually been under pressure from the FBI to do bans against ads containing crytocurrency elements a few days ago. I came across an article recently. Google is joining Facebook and Twitter to ban all crypto related ads. Why does everyone seem to want to frustrate crytocurrency?
Because crytocurrency has a value is volatile and is considered to be able to cause the destruction of the state's financial standard as a whole.

I think the main reason for this, frequent fraud on the part of not decent people. We hear something there and there about the frequent deceits of ISO. Crypto currency for scammers, like cheese for mice. Such measures are introduced for the safety of their clients.

This move by Google isn't an attempt to irk cryptocurrencies at all but they are focusing on their users' safety more than anything else. Might seem like a move to add frustration into the already bloodbathing market but isn't really the case as this would happen sooner or later. Just a matter of few weeks before it is forgotten and the people will be back to focusing on the price as it shoots up.

They just did what they have to do to prevent more damages that scammers made and will make. Instead of taking time to screen all of them. But hopefully as time passes, they'll be likely to come up with a solution especially for those with real and honest purposes.

I came across an article recently. Google is joining Facebook and Twitter to ban all crypto related ads. Why does everyone seem to want to frustrate crytocurrency?
I this is completely wrong news. I have read many articles and threads in the forum itself which says that google is not at going to ban the crypto ads. There is no official news release for this one and what we are listening to is other hyped news by panic people around us. I think we better ignore this one and keep it in line as it was earlier. Also we can clearly see all the ICO ads flashing all over the CMC website that are being served by the google itself. There is no way such giant is going to leave the crypto ads as it is money after all and they don't care from where it comes. Isn't it.

Maybe they see competitors in crypto. With banks it's obvious. They want to earn all money and give credits with unreal %.
Agree with you! They are monopolists in Internet

I don't think it's a bad thing Google does, maybe it can save a lot of people from get fooled. So Google, it's just helping people and i don't understand that why you misunderstand it. They don't want people to be freed that as a reason of the compression of the cryptos, because, if this system goes on, will not even need the government when on required time.

this news is true, that both accounts (facebook, Twitter) often block about cryptocurrencies ads, this has happened to me, and facebook has blocked my account, and they say "your message looks spam, i will secure your account" if really facebook secure its users, why my account can not active, but I have changed the password according to his orders.

I don't see anything wrong with the ban of cryptocurrencies advertisements on popular platforms. Many of them were advertising things such as "Earn 1 Bitcoin per week" or some similar clickbait ads which usually lead to scam cloud mining services or exchanges with low volume. But we have to think for a moment if it was the real purpose of banning this kind of ads. Would they normally care so much about that if someone didnt't force them? I guess we will never know the truth.

I also had time to read articles about it, which I know is facebook and twitter prohibits crypto ads because it is considered misleading. It is said, many companies that advertise crypto, not operating properly. if what you mean by foiling by blocking ads. In my opinion do not worry too much, because for advertising, word of mouth can spread wide. and in my opinion the facebook and twitter policies are pretty good, so not a handful of people are utilizing the popularity of bitcoin for deceptive acts.

Think about it all of those businesses you are talking about depend on centralization for their business model, bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are about the opposite while bitcoin is not a direct competitor I will not be surprised if there is already a coin in development set to become Google rival that doesn't spy you every single day, so their businesses model will become obsolete if the blockchain takes off.

Sad to hear that, but it seems to me that banning isn't about cryptocurrencies, it's about scams. Maybe they all feel like they can't predict whether a particular ICO is scam, or not, but they don't want to be responsible for scammers, so they ban them all. But I wonder why they didn't ban online casinos then, people spend there a lot of money too.

Maybe because they are frustrated about how a lot of people are killing the entire bank system because of those "coins" like they said? Anyway, i still believe in that they are always trying to kill cryptos because it is against all the monopoly who prefers to have everything 100% centralized.

I don't really understand why people keep thinking that this add ban is an attack to crypto. There are a lot of scams in crypto, and it's perfectly normal for these companies to try to defend themselves from that. It would be very easy for someone to try to sue them, because they allowed for clear scams to be advertised. This does not harm the real projects like bitcoin for example, that don't need these type of adds to reach investors.

Who knows? Google doesn't want to frustrate cryptocurrency. It's either they have plans that will give them advantage by having this decision. There's no reason why they did this but this also beneficial to the newbies who are just searching about "bitcoin / crypto" on google and after pressing the search button, those scams crypto ads appears. They will be now safe from those through the search engine but its still their choice if they will follow their own decision and thinking that they can be rich overnight through crypto.

I came across an article recently. Google is joining Facebook and Twitter to ban all crypto related ads. Why does everyone seem to want to frustrate crytocurrency?
I think due to business related because of money or because of those scammers that using facebook and twitter ads to attract more investors to victimize as you see so many ico's on facebook ads that spreading but in the end are turning into scams that's why bitcoin reputation getting negative to other new investors i think these one of the reason why google banned other crypto related ads.
