Hello,
When I run T9+ it works fine several hours, after that hash rate on one chain drops to 96 aproximatly, only work 2 chips. Then I reboot the device and it works fine for several hours and then again hash rate drops on the same chain. I will post kernal log. On miner status all chips are showing "o", temperatures are max 78 C. I flashed firmware and its the same. Also two chips on other chain hashing 0. Does anyone knows what is causing the problem?
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
When I run T9+ it works fine several hours, after that hash rate on one chain drops to 96 aproximatly, only work 2 chips.
Thanks in advance

Had a similar issue with my V9 and solved it by upgrading the firmware. Have you tried?
At least check with version you have vs latest available here:

What is your psu?

Try running any two boards if they work a day in a row.

Try another combo of any two boards

If they work a day in a row.

My guess would be a weak psu.

I bought two T9+s on a whim back when S9s were virtually impossible to get.  The first one died within 3 weeks, the 2nd one died yesterday - at the 6ish week mark.   Sent the first to California and got a replacement directly from China in a bit over 2 weeks.  The second is headed the shortly.

Bottom line:  They appear to be junk.  Just use your warranty and have them replace it.

Mined for a living since 2017.  Dabbled for years before that.

OP did you resolve this issue? I've been having the same issue since setting mine up a few days ago.

My PSU is sound, it's 2400W, on 220V line.

As you can see chain 13 seems to drop out. I have done a reboot each night/morning around my work schedule and it looks like it drops off after about 6 hours. When I review the kernel I do see on chain 13 that the first ASIC only reads ~6 whereas the rest read ~62.

I haven't had a ton of time to troubleshoot the issue yet but thought I'd see what you came up with. Just glad this machine was only around 50$/TH (with the issue more like 60).

Crappy picture I know was a little rushed on my way to work Cheesy

Yeah, Hate to say it. I'm disappointed. I bought 3 T9+'s they were running great then 1 of them decided to go flaky and sometimes 0.0000 GHs. I contacted Bitmain they said that it was possibly a fan. I replaced it. Then about 2 days later Chain 2 goes out.

It's a hit or miss. The other 2 are working great no problems, but looks like in my case 33% of them are bad.

I'm going to try to replace the controller and ribbons just to see if that is the problem. If it is not, off to CA it goes to get replaced or repaired. Literally, the T9+ was 1 week old when received.

So after some back and forth  with Bitmain I have been given permission to open up the miner without voiding my warranty. I don't have the photos or anything yet, but I will document the troubleshooting and eventual solve of this issue hopefully. I will edit this post once done with a link to that thread.

Short story is it's likely a hardware issue.

Im having a similar issues but mine only drops about 300 gh.

I did a strait kernel log comparison in NP++ and found this:

Code:
Test Patten on chain[1]: FAILED!
chain[2]: some chip cores are not opened FAILED!
Test Patten on chain[2]: FAILED!
chain[3]: All chip cores are opened OK!
Test Patten on chain[3]: OK!
chain[8]: All chip cores are opened OK!
Test Patten on chain[8]: OK!
chain[9]: All chip cores are opened OK!
Test Patten on chain[9]: OK!
chain[10]: All chip cores are opened OK!
Test Patten on chain[10]: OK!
chain[11]: All chip cores are opened OK!
Test Patten on chain[11]: OK!
chain[12]: All chip cores are opened OK!
Test Patten on chain[12]: OK!
chain[13]: All chip cores are opened OK!
Test Patten on chain[13]: FAILED!

Im gonna swap PSUs around and try a few other things, but it just looks like a crap hash board.

I finally got around to opening up the machine. Once I figured out the trouble board I opened things up. Pretty simple I just unplugged the fan and disconnected the hashboard. It slid right out and it was easy to notice the scorching on one of the heatsinks. Just emailed Bitmain with my findings, waiting to see what's next.
Here's a few photos.

Umm, there is nothing visually wrong with that hash board. I would need to see the chip chains (little transistors), I suspect one of them is burnt out or about to fall off.

From the images, I see no scorch marks in the pics.

I sent mine to Ant Creek in Washington to be serviced. Not taking the risk. For others information though, I did try to replace the controller and all the ribbons - no luck.

Personally, I think the power plug broke because it was a bad weld or something that is my guess. As it heated up it expanded and caused a crack. I bet it is something simple like that, that I could have repaired. I used the 180 Day warranty instead of taking the chance.

It is hard to notice in the photos but in the 3rd picture. It is the 3rd row of heatsinks from the bottom 2nd heatsink in from the left.

Yeah I will be going that route as well. Unfortunately though if you are Canadian, you can not make use of their American warranty repair.

Either way nothing I can do until I get the unit sent away, which should be next week.
