Bitcoin would reach the moon end of 2018 and as you said Bitcoin is not a threat to people or country, actually it is a threat to banks since banks oppse Bitcoin because they cannot steal people's money in the form of fees and charges once Bitcoin is replaced with paper currency. I do not think that the bitcoin prices will go to $1000 level again. IF it just goes to $5000 or so, a lot of big whales will start investing again as those prices will be really tempting. This will again push the prices back to levels like $20000. However, I am holding for 4-5 years and thus I am not affected by predictions being made for bitcoin performance in 2018.

I think that such manipulations can make good money. I completely agree with you that at today's price level it is very good to make investments and when Bitcoin rises, then it is possible to sell.
