nothing with a GPU since GPUs can not process a complex algo like yescryptR32.

Elicoin (another new CPU online coin) had problems with the pools as GPU miners were using their cards to fake shares and steal shares from legit CPU miners. It happened for about a week before it was fixed. I suggest the WAVI dev take this advice and watch the pools for fake GPU shares. That way he can fix them as soon as they are noticed.

Google cancels the download of cpuminer-opt 3.8.4 claiming virus detected. Can anyone confirm this is a false positive? I'm guessing so, since the code is open source and we have 10+ pages of history now

the miner is fine. I am using it right now. miners set off anti virus programs too.

Anything older than AMD's piledriver processors will not work with the opt miner (late 2012ish?). That is unfortunate because the opt miner is one of the best miners out there for cpu mining. I do not know of any other miner that supports this algo
