I think there are a lot of factors that we can consider that have an effect on your bounty earnings if the project is taking longer than expected due to some delays. Here are some of them, the number of particlpants in the project, of course the more participants the lower the share you will get, another one is your rank, the hihger your rank is the more stakes you get so even if the project takes longer you get higher stakes than those who have lower ranks. We can alos add the supply of the coins and reached cap of the project. But once the project is successful, I know that all your time and effort will be worth it.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I don't see a correlation between the length of the bounty campaign and the amount of earnings.

My experience with bounty campaigns doesn't provide me such conclusions.

I don't believe for now that ICO bounty campaigns will provide winnings as before. We shouldn't deceive ourselves. This problem isn't solved if Ethereum doesn't make ICO related processes more secure.

Yes it is. Imnno therefore I try not to take part in those projects that I plan to hold generosity for several months. Every day more and more participants come to the project and your share of earnings decreases!

It is your decision to work further with bounty which is extended for a long time or not .

This is very true. For a long time there will be many participants. Many of the participants will be divided into the total number of participants so there will be very few compared to short-term campaigns

The bounty manager have no limit in participants ,that is why the bounty earnings will be less and less in each succeeding weeks.

If you have time for this project you can continue to participate in it and find out how much money you will get. I didn't participate in such bointies yet.

It depends on a bounty. My friend had an experience of waiting for a half a year and in the end he earned awfully little. But there are also cases in which waiting definitely worths it. So it's really hard to predict.

I wonder what was bounty you've participated in? I stick to the same opinion, that the longer bounty is,the fewer the earning is. I hate when ICO prolong bounty and leading bounty for 5 -8 months is something unacceptable for me. I try to participate 2-5 weeks.

This is due to the fact that the chances of reducing the Bank increase with each extension. The team spends money on the maintenance of offices and employees, the money ends, and soft cap is not going to.

I do not understand what the sense is in the participating during the half of the year and to earn just cents? Personally I participate in bounty campaign if it is being held during the 8 weeks maximum and not more. If it is longer period, to my mind there is no sense to participate in such a bounty.

Well, usually when the bounty is very small , then I certainly got a lot more even if you take the last project cryptoasist , it gave normal tokens for the price of ico

Yes, base on what I observe having bounty in a longer run has always makes the earning lower especially when the other participants has a higher rank which is not good for a long term run.

Well, it depends on the pool of the total reward, number of total participants in different campaigns and the difference of payment between lower ranks (Jr member, member etc) and seniors like hero and legendary. If the reward pool is big enough for all, there is no need to leave that bounty and everyone would get good rewards, of course some better than others.

By the way short bounties are always good and more profitable in my opinion.

I dont think the period of the bounty campaign influences the earning. The earning is influenced hugely by the total pool and the number of bounty participants
but if bounty campaing organisators prolongs, it's more work for hunters , but not more pool, its so bad, you agree with me? so i can say that period quite influenced the earning..

This means that the ICO period is very long, because the project do not collect good funds to reacht their hard cap. In such situations projects decide to extend the bounty.

I quite share you sentiment on this very issue. I am not too convenient with the elongation of ico projects, it might actually profit those the team but not the bounty hunters reason being that as the bounty period is being extended,  it will avail more participants to join the bounty thereby increase the number of participants causing a reduction in what a stake should have been.
