I know im not alone but im a little worried about the btc price decrease. Im still gonna keep holding but im wondering what everyone is thinking about this and whether a price jump is possible to the near future.

I think, we should start sensitive and analyze what happened lately. before the ban actually took place, and after the ban took place. the impact is too much panic. finally market dums
I think we can learn from experience time to time, various attacks occur for crypto and of course on bitcoin. but in the end all can survive. it's time we change all this, of course do not get stuck and too panicked with the situation and the prohibition that is not necessarily proven to have bad effects. calm ourselves let's learn the market, do not be defeated with the pope who is happy with this situation.

If you are able to hold for 6 months or more, you will get decent returns for sure. One thing I would like to add regarding future investment. If you are thinking about investing more money, you can wait till April. There is a news circulating everywhere that Google may ban crypto advertisements. If this happens prices will drop a lot and you can get more bitcoins for same amount at those price levels.

You're definitely not alone.

Most of the people right now are panic selling and that is generally a sign that the prices are undervalued. It's rare to see prices go down by 10% for several days of a week, and when it does happen you know it's going to recover. It can't just "continue to crash" to zero.

If you're looking to make big money, then this year isn't going to be filled with action. I see us going potentially lower come the latter part of the year. So either you're a long term holder or a short term trader in this scenario.

If you have the means to, do accumulate some BTC at $6-8k. Then sell when the markets recover to $9-10k, which will happen once people become more optimistic due to new news.

IMO price forecast will soon return to its place, judging from the current situation does continue to crash significantly. but, this will not last long, bitcoin will soon improve its performance to give more benefits for each user. let's keep positive thinking and believe in bitcoin performance. next June we will soon see amazing prices and soon repeat success in the past.

Will it be soon or not we will see, to many fud around and many people start to think this is not the bottom, so maybe we are going for a dipper dive.
I believe in positive future, what we discuss here is when we can expect price to recover. Will it happen this year, or period for recovery will last longer, there are many questions and I see community divided on this. News don't help, some of them predict drop to 3000$ some other very soon recovery, but what ever they wrote and what we wrote here doesn't affect reality, manipulations still manipulate and we can't do much about it, only to try to predict what will they do and to try to follow them and earn with this price movement

This time is panic time for bitcoin holders I think! bitcoin going down regularly! but I am not carrying hopeless mind about rising bitcoin price but I think need few months for recover some of price.

For those who believe Bitcoin is an economic bubble, the main argument is a fall in prices. It should be understood that at some point the BTC price skyrocketed as the huge number of new users compares with the total number of those already involved at that time.

But I'm not worried 'cause i know it  will jump again and indeed it always happened because surely there will be some investors will buy back when the price continue drop and perhaps they are now waiting for the opportunity to buy in cheap price. just relax . And the most important now is to put some trust on it and also patience is the must 'cause it pump again when it gains more.

it is a good idea to buy more that we can buy. But, will there be a drop to $ 6k? IMO bitcoin will soon pump and take off again towards its comfort zone. I do not think bitcoin will touch the $ 6k figure in this year.

It's great that you consider current levels to be an opportunity rather than an obstacle or negative aspect, but that's not how the majority of the weak hands look at the market, and probably never will.

Their logic is basic and very simple. If the market has been going up for a while, they see it as a healthy sign and something they want to be part of. If the market tanks, they think it's because of hacks, bans, etc.

In such a market they choose to rather sell at a loss, than to lose more when hodling. They don't understand that if you don't sell, you don't actually lose anything. The only thing that they see is a bad market signalling negativity.

This market has cycles. It's not for the first time that the price has been going down in the first months of the year. The peak of last year just makes everything looks worse than it in reality is. Another thing people don't see.

This problem could be solved by new users but it is very difficult to attract them during such a fall in prices. We just have to watch what happens next.

And that cycle, is not understood by everyone especially those who just thinks that bitcoin is some sort of easy money, btc takes time a long term investment maybe, since we already see how many successful stories it gains from last year, I would not doubt too to hold it till it makes another ATH, t just shows now how people reacts in bitcoin means that is really a potential investment for everyone especially those whose willing to risk.

Don't worry about the price decrease. Just hold your bitcoins we are still in bear market but once this is done we are about to see the bull soon.

Well my theory is there are 2 types of BTC whales:

1) The blue whale (largest volume in BTC but no real contribution to the revolution): Just buy everything and HODL so they drive prices up by their personal greed, thus impeding the widespread adoption/ people wanting to jump on. 
2) The sperm whale (large volumes of BTC and cares for the longevity of BTC): They also buy in volume but are clever enough to dump (sometimes even if at small a personal loss) as they realize that if BTC demand far exceeds the supply driving prices to insane levels - there exists a probability of the volume of BTC that they HODL will not be sold.   

So to conclude my theory: the sperm whales must ocassionally release enough sperm (BTC) to make the sea (market) salty(volume) so the other fish (the rest of us) can survive. 

With the current dip in price - I guess the sperm whales might be wanking

I agree, there are many whales indeed and we dont know really what may gonna happens during this dropping price of bitcoin. Actually there are many hopeless case by this btc decreasing of price of where it actually heading. For those who strongs hold of bitcoin can hold, until such event price could rising.

I'm thinking that next year the same thing happens again, bitcoin will drop its price for up to 70% tons of people will fear and make a panic selling scheme to cut the loss, bitcoin will recover again, slap their own faces cause they did not hold and buy more bitcoins while it is cheap then they are going to FOMO mode to ride the trend repeats its cycle another type of discussion created for this saying all the time just hold and buy cheap.

I think that BTC price can't be less than 5k$ at present. Overall I suppose that BTC price will be 25-30k $ till the end of this year

That would be a possibility to reach new heights of the price of 30k making the people who sold their bitcoin regret, I hope that no whales will gonna dump their own bitcoin then make the crypto market in bloody days again its painful to watch.

I think this year is not good year for bitcoin. slow but sure bitcoin price is continue to decrease and it also make me worried. I am worried if this situation continues to deteriorate and I will lose my money but I still hold my bitcoin and hoping bitcoin price will jump in the near future.

The only thing that you can do is just hold, no one likes the real price of bitcoin at the moment.

I have some tokens that i bought on January, if i sell them now, i have almost 10% of their real value, so the only thing that i can do is just hold them.
