I recently came across IDEX, the Ethereum based exchange. The exchange supports almost all Ethereum based tokens. Moreover it allows us to create a ether wallet. I know that the ETH address of other exchanges doesn't support Airdrops. So my question is whether IDEX will be an exception. Please clarify. I hope the answer will help many members here.

What makes you say so? Have you tried the address generated in IDEX for receiving any airdrop and didn't receive it?

As for now IDEX dont make any statement regarding on that dude (Airdrops not supported yet)
Its better to create a  Ethereum wallet in MyEtherWallet (MEW) and connect it to IDEX exchange

The most important part for a participating in an airdrop is that the ETH address you provide should be 100% under your control, which means you should have the private key with you. To verify the IDEX created address for you, I've created a dummy wallet just now. It is almost same as creating a new ETH address in MyEtherWallet. Even you can log in to your IDEX created ETH wallet using MyEtherWallet since they provide the private key. It can be used to signup for Airdrops without any issue. But personally, I'd rather create the wallet in MyEtherWallet website to be sure.
