Actually, this is expected and I've been seeing this to come when Facebook announced that they'll gonna ban any crypto-related ads from their platform. Every company in the social media industry will follow this step to avoid any unnecessary involvement of their companies to scam ICOs that have been plaguing their platform in the past months through advertisements. They are public companies and any scam related news will ruin their public figure in a very bad way.

In a sense, this is a good thing because this will reduce the introduction of scam coins to the public. This will reduce the exposure of the public mass to those scamcoins and will definitely help the image of cryptocurrency. We all know that most people still see cryptocurrency in a bad way.

They are banning ICO's which is great because ICO's are scams. I hope other places follow suit.

I think that this is just fake news. There was no statement from the official Twitter source. They plan to ban advertising in two weeks, so let's see through this time.

I believe they are having competition with the new token that might compete with google, twiter, facebook, etc. , now youtube is having a lot of ads between videos, they are eliminating all kind of publicity, but I think is too late for that, tecnology always finds a way to grow and this will not be the exception, there is no way to stop bitcoin or altcoins to be adopted by people soon. With many people know that some ICO is a scam to get their money,i think this news will not affected the bitcoin price much.Actually, this is a good news because it will reduce people who get scammed by some shady ICO.I hope people will understand that this ban is for their own good.

It's for crypto's own good. All the scams do no good to cryptocurrencies, people will stay away because of the negative news these scams generate. But on the other hand, the crisis created by the banks a few years ago, was much more harmful then these scams and no social media thought of banning them.

Twitter May Ban Advertising of Cryptocurrencies and ICO?

Hi guys it`s me again, and again I saw this information about the ban, but now for twitter.

BTCTwitter plans to prohibit advertising of cryptocurrencies and ICO, according to Sky News citing sources.BTC

First Facebook then Google, now Twitter is joining, what do you think about the market currency after these news? Is it real or only a big fake news blow before buying a lot of crypto?

Source:http://icowatchers.co/twitter-may-ban-advertising-of-cryptocurrencies-and-ico/

twitter can ban it or not but the most important thing for bitcoin miners and holders is G8 summit. Only one tweet from Donald Trump can cause crypto to skyrocket or go to the bottom. Next two days are crucial.

Perhaps Twitter had their new regulations on their application when it come to posting because more and more of scam are also joining on the flow of ICO, and many had been spotted or reported for their activities and some victims are blaming Twitter for their mistakes.

If Twitter will ban crypto then that will be a very shameful work for them. They are supporting Porn and they will ban Bitcoin I mean crypto! I mean really?!! I think that rumor is not true. If Facebook, Twitter, Instagram will ban crypto, Then there have several ways to promote ico. If everyone will ban crypto then crypto will make a new platform! So, don't lose your hope guys, Just keep doing good things with crypto

Do not care about the negative news from Twitter because it will not affect the bitcoin price. The banning exams from various social media proved by bitcoin by being able to survive and still strong at the price of $8000. Seen from the market cap, investors have started shifting investments to bitcoin and now bitcoin prices have started to rise from the entry of these investors. Be patient as the bitcoin price pumping time will arrive soon.

Well I think this might be a pretty bad news. As you know new ICO projects gain popularity due to social medias like twitter, facebook, etc. If twitter bans cryptocurrency, ICO advertisements the new projects would have a big chance for failure. It might not affect others old coins much but it will have a huge effect on the upcoming projects.

The hype of crypto industry is so high that many people are getting scammed easily in the social media (specially the twitter thing "give this address x ETH, giveaway 2x ETH  Cheesy). Its good to protect the community and to make the ICOs more legit to become the worth of investment.

This is already expected move of twitter. Google is very influential platform because they own facebook, instagram and youtube. As you can see, youtube, blog and other platforms may follow. This is going to badly affect crypto and the prices of coins. I hope they see how beneficial cryotos are.

It was bound to happen. From the minute Facebook made the change, Twitter was going to follow at some point. Whether the announcement is official or not, this might be a good thing. There have been many scams going around so I am glad they get less advertising. Legit companies will find better ways to promote their projects.

I couldn't understand their purpose. Yes there are many scams projects and ico exist. But there much more serious projects exist. But they proper to ban all crypto world. So this situation is not realistic and they will change their idea in near future.

Most of the social networking sites have a negative view for ICO's. The past experience of ICO's investors is not so good which has created a fraudulent image for ICO's. Now Fb, as well as Google, don't want to attach their name to any such activities which can ruin their reputation.

does this look familiar? ,first they tried to influence the world governments to ban the crypto and that didn't work , now the "anti bitcoin consortium" has changed focus to try and drown out the advertising mechanism of bitcoins with the hope that no one else will "buy" into it, it us however a little too late as even people in Jamaica are trading and transacting in bitcoins .It has gained traction so  we just need to develop our own marketing strategies now.

Whenever somebody, an institution or a company tells you that they "ban" / "cancel" / "delete" / or whatever for your own good it is time to become suspicious. I consider this as a lobby driven action. Let's hope I am wrong but this could just be the start. First we talk about ICOs, then about price predictions (which can be as bad as advertising ICOs) then we talk about cryptocurrencies in general...
