560  Cool
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I fail to see what this thread adds to the forums.

Because when nothing was happening only 220 people were watching on average.

With 800 players involved, there is a lot more money being passed around.

The website has a counter there, so, just watch the counter, and whoever might be interested can watch it also. This thread is useless

Tell me how many persons are spending bitcoin on transactions for goods and services and I'll understand the importance of the thread. That's how you see the value of bitcoin, not by how many speculator vultures are watching a line in a mtgox site  Roll Eyes

I Think a lot of people are having troubles (today) with Clarks Moody tool, so the "realtime" movements can be watched in mtgoxlive.

Appear to be some new changes that are done in the server of mtgox WebSockets

Possibly someone generated a lot of "viewers" just to see the reaction in this thread.

I guess the indicator is kind of useless now. Tongue

Forget MtGox Live.  MtGox Websockets have been down for a few days now.  Tried to connect from two separate internet connections.  MtGox should get onto this quick, as it affects some bot traders.

Works for me (however it felt down few times during last day).

Edit: You're right, it's down.

Yes, simply use -w option to switch off websocket, it will use only bitcoincharts.com polling. Actually that's the reason why I though mtgox socket is working; I overlooked that I'm using -w already Wink.

No, it's 0.3 for pretty long time. It adds MtGox multicurrency support and also use better (more stable) websocket library. Follow link bellow...
