It might be worth the hassle if the transaction fee is low enough than what you would use to send the money through traditional methods. I'm more concerned about the value fluctuating though and if the charity is allowed to hold the bitcoins or if the donors would insist it be cashed out immediately upon receiving.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

I don't know for sure but surely there are a few out there who accept bitcoin donations. I haven't really been intent on finding one that does so I guess I will have to look it up.

Charity?
Why give them the hard time to know whether they should sell it now or later for them to fund that charity more?

Cash out that bitcoin and give them the dollar. That is what they always prefer. It will be easier that way. Giving them some task to withdraw it will not be called charity anymore.
I dont think you will have to ask this questions if you are really a charitable person.  Grin

I agree. Most of the time the donations would have to be spent immediately so i think it's pointless to have any charitable institutions hold crypto for a while. They'll need to convert that as well so why not just spare them the effort and donate cash

If there is a charity accepting bitcoins do you prefer to give some of yours Huh

Me: I will if there is, but for now I don't have yet. Wink

EDITED:

Yeah it a hassle for now.

Another question: But what if there is fiat will be disappear in the future and crypto will conquered the world and all payment transactions will be on blockchain system?
So is this applicable right?

If you're making decent amount of money from bitcoin, why not? Charity will accept it even in cash or food or the things they need such as clothes and medicine. I won't think twice if I should lend them some or not. But if I were to give donation, I'd rather buy their needs than money. That way, I'm sure that the money I've earned will go to people who are in need.

Really, what's the point? I saw some ICOs with such ideas, but I can't see what good it will do...What's to stop me from donating real money?
Donating bitcoin for charity purpose is not going to stop you from helping others with cash or the real money. Since the technology is day by day developing, the time could come when charity organization and NGOS will start accepting bitcoin. For you, you don’t need to stop donating cash to charity organizations if you do so. Donating in the form of bitcoin would be a good option for many rich people.

Well it is already happening that NGOs are accepting bitcoin, as last week my friends donated 0.5 of his bitcoin for poor and needy people which they will save and it will gradually increase so high, so it was his level of donation if some people are affording they can donate and help other more than this, I am planning to contact then as I want to earn enough bitcoin to donate some of my bitcoin for poor and deserving people, it will increase your spirit to help other and you will be blessed by GOD with more than this.

Charity institutions are accepting any kind of donations. If you will donate bitcoin, I think they will accept it. I dont know a specific charity that accept bitcoin but I think there are already some. You may search them online because they also have some online way of donating.

I would prefer to give them cash instead of bitcoin but if I'm in a difficult situation and that charity is unreachable and the only means of sending donation to them is through bitcoin then I might consider it. But as of the moment I don't really prefer to use bitcoin for donations. I can cash it out and give a portion of that profit to them.

I think donating using bitcoin to any foundation around the world is very good and will be very beneficial to those who need it. I've seen on some websites that provide that service and I think it's a positive activity, because after all, the income we get there is a few percent to charity.

i agree with you. why would you give them a hard time? if we can already donate with cash. it was always fulfilling and rewarding when you tend to help other people.

Yes, if I had it, I would give it to a low economic person who would obviously be of great help to them and would appreciate if there were such a person, yes if not in the form of BTC in the form of cash if it really wanted to give.

I too prefer Cash, if I donate them bitcoins end of the day if they want to use it for any purpose again they convert it into cash. because in most of the countries you can not use Bitcoin directly. and i think they also not prefer this kind of donations.

Yes, it is possible for charities to accept bitcoin donations if anyone thought about it - they accept literally anything helpful. It can serve as their investment and sell it when the price finally peaks, maximizing their profits and helping more people.

i think charity using bitcoin or altcoin is no problem. because bitcoin or altcoin is decentralized then most important is the credible charity holder to avoid misuse of the charity.

If there are charities who would accept bitcoin, I will support it right away. I will donate bitcoin is I have some or if I am capable of doing so. The more blessings we share and the more people we help, the more blessings will bounce back to us as well. Giving is a great way to express how we are blessed to have bitcoin in our lives.
theres no doubt we all wanted to help orphans or charities because this is human nature,to help the needed but what im concerns about is why need to be crypt?when we can give them fiats or other charitable things that they might want than this cryptocurrency,i dont care whats the motive about the helping but the thing is lets not spend our bitcoins for them whem they dont even know how to value this great asset
