End of Bitcoin?

Ok, so this is the very first time I am seriously concerned about the future of bitcoin:

This article talks only about child pornography within the blockchain, but apparently the researchers also found copyrighted material, and other illegal content. Having worked on international governance matters, I fear this could mobilize sufficient national authorities to arrange a concerted crack-down on anything related to bitcoin (starting with, for instance, prohibiting exchanges, fiat flows related to bitcoin etc.).

Given the nature of the blockchain, I can't see any TECHNICAL solution.

Two questions in this regards:

1) do you agree that this is a major threat to the existence of bitcoin?
2) assuming that bitcoin would have be "restarted" (a fork obviously would not solve the problem), how could an "ethical" and "legally acceptable" from of the blockchain and thus bitcoin work?

Its such a shame that some people stoop as low as child porn, and yes,such activities are a mojor threat to BTC, but only if the coin was used to pay for certain services within that sphere.if not then blockchain is an independent technology that should deal with its own problems.

The only way of ensuring such things dont happen again is through regulations, if BTC and Blockchain remain independent then there is nothing that can be done

I believe that bitcoin will not end, although the  price is not stable, but look at now the price goes up, so meaning theres always be growth for everything, this is just the beginning, just be positive all the time, it doesnt mean if the price is low bitcoin will end, its just the matter of test how big our faith in here, if we dont give up we can see how bitcoin change our lives, i can assure our effort,hardwork will be paid off if.

This is fake news. Bitcoin is transparent therefore only stupid criminals will use it to commit illegal activities. They are leaving a trail of evidence behind. Monero is the choice of criminals nowadays. Since it hides transactions. Do some more research.

With the current situation, we can see that Bitcoin is a stable currency and has excellent development platforms. I think many countries will accept Bitcoin for domestic and international transactions. But besides that, many people believe that Bitcoin and other currencies may end up unexpectedly, but I think it's impossible.

These types of illegal issues cannot harm or stop the use of bitcoin. Rather, we can hope that there will be some restrictions on the use of sites or user age of bitcoin in future.

Bitcoin will never end. It is too impossible. I know it will never happened. Even bitcoin price always drop, we all know that this issue will never harm or it cannot stop the great use of bitcoin for everyone. Bitcoin is a great opportunity to everyone. Bitcoin is like a tree you need a lot of water for the grow of it

So here in bitcoin the user of it is the water that's why it will continue grow and this is non stop because of the popularity of it in every user
