I hope so. This wont continue like this. Its been almost 2 months since the dip and it hard for it to recover. Last year was a really unexpected growth of all digital assets, maybe we can see that again this year or maybe in the next few years.

this here is a dynamic market which is going up and down based on market dynamics. there is no luck or hope involved and it won't "go back to give you hope"! what does that even mean?

we had some drops like ALWAYS, and it is because of the big price rise which ended with a bubble and then followed by a lot of FUD and panic sells by the weak hands. it was not luck that dropped the price!
and now that we are getting rid of all the weak hands by flushing them out, everything is going back to normal slowly and the rises are starting to become more solid with a better buy support. and again it is not luck that this is happening!

Bitcoin was trending around $1200 last year same period and reached close to $20000 which is almost x20 times the profit.

Currently Bitcoin is trending between $9000 to $10000 which is a health sign and it never went down below $7000 in 2018. There are many reasons for the dip and one of the reason is correction. If we assume Bitcoin to reach at least half of the target achieved last week like x10 then Bitcoin will surely hit around $80k as per my prediction.

Yes sitting around $9,000 presently, after a low this month of $7,500 and the dip last month to $6,200 which was a fall of 70% from its ATH in December. My understanding is there’s a lot of mainstream institutional and otter smart money waiting to come into the market once it’s believed the bottom of this crash has been reached, and the consensus before the crash was that about $8,000 would be close to the bottom and a good time to buy in - and I think we’ve seen good support for bitcoin around this level.

Once that smart money does start coming into the market the price should start increasing steadily which will draw in new investors as well with FOMO. That should send the price back up to $15,000 and then the ATH of $19,000 will be tested. Whether that happens in May/June as many think or in an October to December rally as in previous years is unknown, but yes I believe it will happen sooner or later and never hurts to have luck on your side!

But we need patience. The direction is upwards again, and as soon as those sellers get depleted, we'll reach that too.
Slow growth is better. You've seen what happens at the end of exponential growth... So, again, we need patience.

Right now is what I can say "lucky" in terms of the situation Bitcoin is in as we have the opportunity to buy Bitcoin at a cheap price, especially the late comers who wants to board the train can enjoy the cheap price. That's what other's most common misconception, bitcoin being able to take over cash in trades. I think governments would also allow people to use bitcoin as an alternative payment method like how people use credit cards. People paying tax on the exchange of bitcoins to fiat makes a real difference as it can help make adoption rate go up massively(since it would be well known if news of btc's legalization spreads).

We are all speculating so think the way you want. Right now it's hard to see bitcoin getting back again to $10,000 and it's one of the challenges that it has to face.

Well, I think we all must to have a little common sense. Praying, hoping and this kind of feelings are not related to the economy, as well as luck. Bitcoin is not in a bad position right now: it is being accepted by more and more people and used as a payment system in more and more business. Even so, the price is still high in comparison with the same period last year. The problem is people looking back at the last December under the thoughts of normality. No, it wasn't "normal", it was, definitely, a bubble, and, like all bubbles, eventually exploded.
Now, btc price is expected to rise a little, step by step, as more and more people begin to use it and the miners find more and more difficult to generate more. Its normal behavior would be to rise slowly, but confident, with some downs of minor importance. It should be the normal progress of such a kind of valuable stuff. No god no lucky is related to it, but the normal behavior of a healthy market.

Current market situation is a push and pull between bears and bulls with neither having the upper hand. But having all these positive hints towards cryptos in the G20 summit seem to be a perfect match for a slight upward push just like what the price is exhibiting right now, though I still doubt whether we can get past $10000--let alone $9500--given that the blunders of the Gox trustee still affects the market as of late. We've already retested $7k and apparently, the price made some careful rebounds from there, but that doesn't mean that the bull's strength is reinvigorated and ready to make another crazy run. It would be a stagnant March as I see it.
