Hi guys, I'm interested on GoldCoin. Is this goldcoin can still be mined? thanks  Yes. Goldcoin is currently PoW and can be mined using any Scrypt compatible rig.  Thank you for this information. Unfortunately, this means it can only be mined by a Scrypt ASIC. GPU miners I suspect wouldn't gain much mining GLD. |

got a date yet ? Keep in mind this post was made by a new bitcointalk user.  Besides, Poloniex never reveals the coins they're thinking of adding. Once they've decided to add Goldcoin, the news will come straight from them. |

The key was compressed. https://www.goldcoinwallet.com/ does NOT support using the compressed key, whereas other bitaddress clones do. |

I like the ideas that are associated with gold. Gold is really the thing that makes a person worry. The idea of digital gold is not new of course, but it requires attention. And the fact that the project is developing rapidly, it means the team is working. And I hope with time it will give good results.
