It was below 1k last year beginning. But from the mid year prices started to explode! What's the reason behind these price rise?
Yes last year it's around to $1000 and before the end of 2017 the price of bitcoin was rapidly growing he reached the $20000. But when the new year comes the price of bitcoin was slowly decrease he dropped it on $7K in february. Well this year I believe the value of bitcoin will rise again and it may reach $50K. |

In fact we need to be patient and it is expected to see the bitcoin price trading above 30000$ in next few months, currently bitcoin is still trading so stable which indicate that in future bitcoin price will certainly reach to a very high price, therefore i think we should hold our bitcoin and should also try to buy more and more bitcoin. |

The price is dependent on supply and demand and nothing. Else
The demand has increased because of Japan legalizing the currency and many other countries giving it a serious consideration

Simply because of the demand in the market, also since bitcoin can be used as cash many people and other businesses are now using it that is why the progress of bitcoin is continue to grow. For now the value of bitcoin constantly fluctuates because some big whales are wanting to manipulates the bitcoin value to earn huge amount of profit. |

Bitcoin price is driven by open market. There are always affected by fake news, fomo, and main stream news. I don't think the Bitcoin price is high at all and price is what the other person is willing to pay.

The value of bitcoin has a high price or value because of its higher demand currently. Besides the fact that bitcoin is getting more and more known and more people gaining more interest and investing. Also because they may find cryptocurrencies more convenient and secure than actual money.

For me, the biggest bloom of the bitcoin price is because of the demand of bitcoins. When there are more investors than sellers, the price move up. When there are more sellers than investors, the price drops. The price that time is very low, that is why many people invested and made the price jump a huge gap. |

A mixture of the reasons that made the Bitcoin rise to these levels but I think these are the most prominent reasons: - Lots of good news: In 2017 a lot talked about the rise of the Bitcoin and all the channels talk that the price will rise to 100,000$
- The fame of bitcoin: social media have talked admirably about Bitcoin, also given space to communicate among currency users
- Bitcoin Forks: Free money from these hardfork
- altcoins: you need bitcoin to buy altcoins

I am not really particular on the reason why bitcoin is having a high price. But the reason why bitcoin price goes down and that is the effect of the demands of the bitcoin supply.
Whether if the prices are going up or coming down, it all belongs to the supply and demand rule. When things are cautiously working good and people are buying bitcoins and then keeping them, supply and demand becomes usually equal. But when supply becomes shortage and demand is still high, prices become getting higher. And in case when supply becomes enough but demands are down, prices get down abruptly. |
