Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

You've been served!

Spicer?  I'm confused.

Edit:  Sean Spicer, Trump’s press secretary, tweeted out a bitcoin hash back in January 2017. The tweet was quickly deleted, but it led to a rumor mill speculating he had just let everyone know his password. That wasn’t the case, it appears the apparently random string “n9y25ah7” was a bitcoin blockchain based verification code.

---

Yeah, I've been saying Trump is gonna go big on Crypto.

You do realize that the tweet was prior to the bitcoin transaction.  So anyone could have made the bitcoin transaction after Spicer tweeted that code.  It was 13 hours from when that tweet went out until the bitcoin transaction.

Thanks, publijd, I didn't research it much.  Regardless, Trump hired a couple pro Bitcoin guys.  And let's face it, I don't think the dollar (or any other major currency) is gonna last another 4 years.

I done told you Satoshi went nuclear!!!

CoinDesk - Craig Wright's New Company is Building a Bitcoin Core Competitor

Former Bitcoin Foundation director Jon Matonis doesn't waste any time asserting that his new employer is seeking to disrupt bitcoin's established development process.

Matonis, who joined the secretive startup nChain today, is quick to state that this is the ambition of the London and Vancouver-based operation he now claims has 60 full-time employees, including infamous developer Craig Wright.

...Such a scenario has long been the subject of fears in the bitcoin development community. For example, the idea that a hard fork could possibly disrupt the validity of the bitcoin blockchain was factor cited by Bitcoin Core developers in their support for their proposed scaling solutions.

But, given the risk of creating two separate bitcoin assets in the process, why not build a competing blockchain network? According to Matonis, the answer is hashing power.

While cryptocurrency markets such as ethereum and litecoin have recently hit notable highs, it's bitcoin's miners that Matonis believes makes it more valuable.

Are you muppets so dense that you can't figure things out even when they're spelled out for you?

The person who took the screenshot of the tweet did/does not have his/her personal Twitter account set for EST, DC's time zone where Spicer is based out of.

Further, by several accounts it was stated that Spicer immediately deleted the tweet upon realizing his error. Oh really! Then how does one account for the below screenshots?

That sure is a helluva lot of retweets and likes for a tweet that was supposedly short-lived, eh?

Did you note the timestamps within all three screenshots (my two and yours)?

TBC, a well-educated man does not simply tweet, then immediately thereafter scratches his balls sans proofing what he tweeted till some extended time later. It's tweet, scratch, proofread, OH SHIT!, delete. NOT tweet, scratch ... LONG PAUSE ... proofread, OH SHIT!, delete.

According to my timezone (PST; Arizona), the following depicts the time a tweet was posted on January 26, 2017: https://twitter.com/presssec/

6 Days prior: https://twitter.com/PressSec/status/822621622800711681

Thanks to this thread's title - -- The Riddle of the Twin Brothers - Who Were, Are and Will Rule the World! - I'm not off-topic.  Tongue

EDIT: Look who was the first to report on this: http://gizmodo.com/sean-spicer-just-tweeted-something-that-looks-an-awful-1791649692

Ironically, the author of the piece - Bryan Menegus - was the first person to even be banned for life from ... wait for it ... Twitter.

I'm still seeing people saying Dr Wright is running or he's wanted.

Why do muppets always choose to listen to the media click bait?

Here you go:

Dr Wright's Police Cert No.  VC0062140.  Not even a single traffic ticket let alone any crimes, charges or arrest warrants.

---

Not even a single traffic ticket?  That's robot abilities.  I've had about 15 car accidents (only half my fault and none have been my fault the past ~15 years) and like 50 traffic violations including some criminal ones (most before I was 26).  Cars and I have always partied like it's 1999.

You guys don't realize how lucky you are to have Dr. Wright instead of some total nutjob who doesn't care about the risks or dangers as long as he "wins".  lol

"I will demonstrate one time, and one time only that I am Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin. After this presentation I will NEVER conduct such EVER again! Please pay close attention, Gavin and Jon."

"Upon carefully watching Craig Steven Wright perform his amazing demonstration, it's my opinion that he is undoubtedly the creator of bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto."

"That was totally fuckin' amazing! Can I see it again? My bad! I got excited there for a sec due to them nChain beads I earlier stuck up my ass."

Have you spoken to Wright about IXC?

Are you kidding me?  IXC is my obsession - every logical, sensible place I can find to push it into the convo I do.

Nothing yet.  But I'm hopeful.  IXC really does fit into bitcoin eco-system.

You announced at 04:26:55 AM (PST - my time; -7 GMT)

Wright's time is probably GMT, given that he's in the UK.

You're in Romania: +2 GMT

You posted the Pastebin link at 09:08:34 AM (PST, again my time)

How do you explain this?

7 hours later was the last message:

According to the Pastebin timeline, the convo lasted 7 hours according to some unknown timezone, but you have a start-to-finish timeline equaling to ~4 1/2 hours.

What am I missing in the equation? A Quantum Derivative in Mod5/Base 17?
