Yes, this is very relevant.  

It took me some time to finally crack this.  If you think this riddle is hard to solve, imagine not having any hints, for the clues I'm giving you nearly solve the riddle, entirely.

Bitcoin is a good guess, why did you guess Bitcoin?  There is a real factual reason for the clues in this riddle.  

Ripple and mastercoin are a bust.  At least as far as this riddle is concerned.  But I'm curious if you just guessed Bitcoin or if you understand what XBT actually means.  There, that's another big hint.

we use math to describe and explain the universe... that is by no means evidence, and every atheist and scientist i've ever heard discuss the matter  will agree the universe was here before us -- to get from that to a designer is quite a leap... but since the OP agrees with your conclusion, I'll move on as there is no evidence here to discuss

No, not really.  IXC is the son of BTC while i0Coin was a clone or a son of iXcoin.

On a technical level - all coins are clones of BTC but IXC was identical, a twin, in the sense that the only thing they changed was the maturity - to see what would happen when BTC approached terminal mining (21 million coins).

I can't think of any other coin which was cloned without any other change to the Bitcoin protocol; all the rest changed more to try and add or be different than Bitcoin so in that sense iXcoin is the only true son or Twin brother.

I suppose twin brother is more fitting since all the alts are actual sons of Bitcoin.

But at the time I wrote the riddle I did not yet see that Thomas meant Twin in Aramaic.
