I'm already in Crypto since march 2017 and made a decent amount of money to pay off my bills and some holidays.

I had a situation in my family few months ago where I received a lot of money from my dead granma.

I would like to chose ONE crypto and go "all in" with around 50k usd.

My goal is 1 year HODL and then withdraw most of it for an house or something like that.

Doing my own research I found ICON (ICX) as possible 10-20x cryptocurrency in this given timeframe.


PS: Please do not suggest unknown or shitcoins. (I know those may make a good money but I am not confident on putting so much money in these).

Yes you are right ICX is really amazing but don't buy now yet wait for the perfect it is already pump because of listing on bithumb it will dip after. Add also BTC, ETH, LTC, TEL, TRX, VIB and LUNYR but I would suggest do your own search first if you really want those coins. Goodluck.

Then why not invest in the safest bet Ethereum. Currently, it is @ $545, which is almost 62% down from the recent all-time high. And it is surely gonna reach $2k+ in the next bull run. So, you can easily 3-4x your investment.

What this guy said. for such a large sum you should invest in a top 20 coin (for safety) and given the current pricing i would also pick ethereum.

I will suggest don't go with one single crypto to minimize the risk as investment in cryptocurrency are riskier. Invest in 4 to 5 coin and diversify your portfolio. as you said yo can hold up to 1 year then you can choose following coins BTC, Ethereum, LTC, Monero, NEO and you can also invest in ICON, EOS, ADA, RIPPLE, ZILLIQA, IOST. also if you want to get dividends from the beginning then buy Kucoin Shares (KCS), this will give you some portion of coins listed on kucoin in the form of dividends.

Buying ICON coins for $50,000 is alot of money. Why you need to put all your grandma's money on that ICON? In which you can diversify into a good coins like BTC, ETH, LTC and then put only 20% icon.

I like your portfolio but I will choose NEO, ETH, BTC as these are the 3 most influential crypto in this market and have very low price at this time. I think that in the coming time, the uptrend of BTC, ETH, NEO will have the best price and be able to surpass the old price in June.

i suggest you to buy TRX and ETH. hold it until the ends of this year, sell when TRX hit $0.5-$1. and hold ETH for long term. wait until ETH hit $2000 above

Maybe I wasn't completely clear when I wrote the topic. I have already a mixed porfolio, not updated since a couple of weeks and its something like that:

The 50k USD I have are for ALL IN are "sacrificable" money, meaning I can afford the loose with no impact on my current living. Also I woudn't want to touch my crypto portfolio to buy a house, but at least 2-3 years HODL for now and live with passive incomes for many years to come.

I "just" need a 10X for reaching 500k USD and buying a house, thats why I thought ICX was the ideal candidate as I can easily see it to 30-50 USD later this year.

So no more diversified portfolio but just all in please and don't care about the risk, just not shitcoins.

The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

It is too risky.  Crypto is super risky, but putting all eggs in one basket is mindless. Now is good entry point for each coin from top 100 crypto.  Invest most part in stable one and something like 20% in one risky, but potential coin

Yes I notice this coin that has a potential in the market and also they had an update on their platform. Eth has a much better chance to 10x instead of icon.  Eth is the most used platform by far and is only gaining more users everyday.  Eth to 5k  may even happen at the end of this year.

Credits seems good coin and I folloe its track since day 1 since I bought some of it and earn with buying at dumping rate and know the credits had a strong stand. And provably it could even pump for more since the supporters of this coins had good specualation for more further years of its existence.
