@CEX : My account is fully verified, I have credited it and bought BTC. I have a transfer in 'pending' for more than 48 hours, and this is already my 3rd attempt to transfer... Each time the support is getting back with some 'policy' issue - but i went through the full verification process before crediting my account !! Why is it so hard to transfer the BTC now ?? Who can help me, as it seems the support team is just sending generic answers. In the meantime, my funds are frozen...

Today I got a strange REST API error for a short time (lasts only ~2minutes):

{'error': "ERR Error running script (call to f_08db95f96f2a052e7b16a2e345c187efafc6f0d5): @user_script:10: @user_script: 10: -OOM command not allowed when used memory > 'maxmemory'.   "}

The timestamp when I got this error is 1467370707759.

edit:
it happend for every kind of call I guess. I tried "balance" and "cancel order".

We've been making some modest updates, which might have caused such error in the REST API. We apologise for inconvenience.

What do they ask for?

CEX.IO, do you keep verification info after verification?

They only require some form of government/photo ID, taken in a high quality photo showing card and face clearly in picture. Also some form of service bill with your name and address on it, bank statements with no redaction's and your first born child's soul.

And yes, they will keep all of this on record.
Casa Electra is right. This is a recipe for disaster.

Also, "selfie ID" (that's how the selfie photo with the ID and face in the photo is called) is something I personally hate. And why the bank statement?

I use AdvCash and the verification is much more reasonable.

other companies verification processes are a lot more strightforward, and they are bound by the same financial regs that CEX are.
so that leads me to think that it is internal CEX policy that asks for so much... hmm wonder why?

anyway its better not to use them methinks, its a damm sight easier

I did complete their verification once and that's the only time they asked for it. After proving that the card is owned by you, you can do whatever you want with it instantly (it may be depositing or cashing out).

For me, it was pretty easy and their support was pretty friendly too, don't know what got into your verification.
