Google is working on its own blockbuster to support its cloud services and to strengthen future positions, in the light of active competition from start-ups working with the blockbuster. This is reported by Bloomberg, with reference to several sources familiar with the situation.

Developments are conducted by specialists of Google's parent office, Alphabet Inc. The company intends to use distributed registry technology to increase the security and reliability of storing information about transactions and other data in its cloud services. The timing of the launch of the product has not been disclosed.

"As with other innovative technologies, representatives of different departments are exploring the potential for blockage, but it is too early to talk about any specific dates," the Google representative said.

The Internet giant also concluded a number of agreements that imply the subsequent acquisition and investment in certain start-ups operating in this area, sources said.

At the time when google blocked the crypto ads from their site they said that they are blocking them because they want to restrict those who start scam ICOs and some scam servies and they did not said trhat blockchain is bad because of which they are blocking. It means that google is not against blockchain technology but they are against the scammers. You are right. Lot of banks are interested in blockchain technology, but at the same time they are hating Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. So, if Google will start to use blockchain technology it will be any positive impact to Bitcoin.
