weird, cant sync properly. added note using v1.2 wallet. got all the blocks but wallet says (out of sync). did the add note (latest) & connected to 6 peers too. pc time is correct too. any help ? many thx

At what blockcount are you?
Sometimes pools don't find a block and client says "it's out of sync" while it isn't.

ah ha, left it on for a bit. i actually deleted the v1.2 & downloaded v1.2b & it worked out well for me. just have to let it run for a bit. many thx.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

seriously ?

and you guys have been bumping this super old shit last few weeks why ?
woudln't have anything to do with Scrypt asics looming now would it ?

utterly retarded bs .

I think it's a great coin for you.
I know you hate pre-mines, well, this coin wasn't pre-mined Smiley

And the "blockchain voting" will be a great feature when it comes to making big decisions for the coin, like changing the algo.
this coin wasnt premined, it was just mined by the only few ppl who knew about it for 6 months, lol, the ultimate premine.
i ran into this coin about 4 months ago, it had 1 pool and maybe 3 people mining with 1 ati 7850 each, and they have so many coins its a joke this got on an exchange, unless this was a newer release
Just think that those smart people made a favour for you to mine that coins and sell cheap. It can be pretty clear for all new people involving in cryptocurrency world that there is a brand bitcoin and another bitcoin scrypt as it brother.

This is nice. Going on almost 9 hours without a block now. Blockchain explorer went down a few hours ago as well.

There is a mirror block explorer at
http://blocks.btcs.pw

I really wish people would consider that one the main explorer instead of http://blocks.btc2.pw because it is more reliable .. the other one has an issue with boost that I have never fully resolved.

http://blocks.btc2.pw is back up.  If you ever notice it down, you can PM me and I'll fix it asap.

I was also wondering the same. No popular pools have that much of volume and the network hashrate is 2700 MH/s

Seems like someone really don't like BTCs Smiley and we shouldn't be surprised - now with lack of blocks everyone will leave mining and when eventually diff readjust some magic huge hashpower will visit again...

0.00013077 BTC is a long way from 1 BTCs = 1 BTC  Cool

Is anyone even promoting this coin? Looks abandonded by the dev(s), it's a shame because it has potential.

Abandoned? This is where the action is:
https://cryptocointalk.com/forum/411-bitcoin-scrypt-btc

Smiley

There's enough coming for it, like other diff algo, other algorithm, blockchain voting so community can vote on important changes to the coin, etc.

I hope the value will stay low a bit longer, I'm turning my mined altcoins into BTCs.

just my personnel opinion but no other crypto coin should be allowed to use the name 'bitcoin' in its name discription no matter what it has to offer unless of coarse it comes from the bitcoin devs themselves
