There are a lot of good managers on this forum and I suggest you only enroll in their Bounties and not just any bounty. I will name a few good managers for you: Woshib, Yahoo & Hotachy. These are the ones who have obtained good feedback from users.
Also, another criteria to judge a manager is by looking at the trust rating. A positive trust means the person is reliable. If you enroll in their campaigns, the chances are high that you would get good returns.

Its hard to know if the bounties are legit or not the only solution of that is to participate it and wait for the distribution of the tokens if they want to pay or not

You always need to do your pwn research instead of relying on what other people say in telegram group. Also all bounty participants are kind of competitors as more people joining bounty means lower stakes for each of them

As mentioned before, you can join campaigns managed by top bounty managers like Sylon, yahoo etc. in addition to that try searching at bountylord website as all the bounties appear there. Another way is monitoring ico which are scored at different ratings websites if they have bounties.
