Ouch High TX fee for payout. Make sure to set your auto payout rather high.

No problem after making that adjustment.

Apologies for that, the fee was still set at default level. This has now been reduced.

Thanks that is a lot better. But I guess since it was TX fee I'd get part of it back as block reward. Tongue

I do like the dashboard and layout of this kind of pool. so come on people give it a try.

Offering 5,000 FFC for a working block explorer.

I would like a working block explorer for fireflycoin.com

I know I have been slacking lately but I will start working on the website and getting that tidied up a bit.

In the mean time offer some suggestions for the site, features, fixes, anything.

Thanks again for all of your support.

Happy Coining!

Neat, I'll probably switch back later today. Thanks for your hardwork with this pool, hoping FFC gets listed somewhere someday as well.

Pool is broken, Mined several blocks yesterday and received no credit. It seems the pool may be getting the blocks and the miners not getting a payout. If you look at block stats it shows when they are found and it counts down the Validity. Coin never appeared as Unconfirmed or Confirmed

How do you solo mine FFC?

Sure download wallet software and install it.
let it sync it's blockchain then shut it down.

go to
C:\Users\{Windows logon name}\AppData\Roaming\FireFlyCoin

then copy paste the code below and fill in with your info remove the {}
Code:
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcuser={mynewusername}
rpcpassword={mynewpassword}
server=1
daemon=1
rpcport=5534
port=5535
addnode=fireflycoin.com

Save it in this folder as fireflycoin.conf

launch your wallet again

To CPU mine
Click on console button and enter
setgenerate true

To use GPU/USB Erupters
install BFGminer or CGminer and configure for GPU/erupter red/blue fury etc
make the URL: 127.0.0.1:5534
username: {mynewusername}
password: {mynewpassword}

So by the time your done with all this you could be on the pool already.

Pool you get a few FFC every time a block is found (faster then solo)
Solo you more coins less often,

Problem with share retention has now been resolved and pool is running smoothly and paying out as expected.

Backlog has now caught up and all missing rewards should have been credited.

Haven't gotten any payouts from the pool yet, when do they occur?

Also, a recommendation.  Go through the source code again and carefully turn "bitcoin" into "fireflycoin" where appropriate.  It's changed in some places, but persists in others - I see it in the conf files for example.

Zetacoin (and it's logo) shows up in several places as well.

Any exchange or way to trade this yet?

When I was younger we didn't have behavioural disorders. They called it "being a brat". It was as simple as that!

I keep hoping it will pop up on one too. Right now I've been mining BTC because the diff is going up slower than expected, but I still have solomining on my rotation.

Be on the look out.

I should be releasing a fixed version very shortly.

Current list of fixes:

1. Difficulty Adjustment.
2. Zetacoin logo replacement.
3. Hardcoded DNS seed.
4. Total Coins Adjustment.
5. Maybe a Block Reward Adjustment, not sure yet.

If there is anything I am missing, just let me know.

Thanks.

Hey, one step closer to famous: http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052702304607104579210051252568362

FFC was mentioned in the Wall Street Journal.

Also those updates as promised:

Windows QT Client:

Source Code:

The fine print isn't always bad. Enjoy 1K FFC on me.
