In the light of increased attention to the cryptocurrency market, more and more noteworthy precedents of the large players participation appear. It becomes clear that soon a lot of experienced players will be ready to invest in this market.
Good example of such players are Family Offices. Despite their conservatism, they have more flexibility than classic venture giants.

That’s why we, GrowthUp Crypto team, decided to test the hypothesis about Family Offices’ readiness to cooperate with crypto/blockchain projects. Enjoy!

General mailing activity

Table 1: https://ibb.co/PCxsB6x

Table 1 shows the results of cold mailing on Family Offices divided into 3 periods.
“Open Rate” shows the ratio of open letters to all sent letters.
“Answer Rate” shows the ratio of responded letters to all sent letters.
“Multiple Open Rate” shows the ratio of letters opened more than three times to all sent letters.
“Opening location changed” shows the ratio of letters which were opened several times in different locations to all sent letters.
“Opening from place another to fund location” shows the ratio of letters which were opened in locations different from fund location to all sent letters.

As can be seen from Picture 1, the main indicators of mailings before / during / after the market shock for the FO repeated the trend of the behavior of crypto funds: a significant increase in all indicators in the shock period (an increase of Open Rate by 5 percentage points from the pre-shock state, an increase of Answer Rate by 2 times from the average for three months) and a decrease after the stabilization of the market situation (a decrease of Open Rate by 5 percentage points from the state of shock, a decrease of Answer Rate by 1.5 times from the average for three months).
