I think it depends on the decision of each person. Our decision will be different. Depending on how we analyze the market. But if I think that the market price is above the purchase price is better sold directly. we wait too long to get a bigger profit I'm worried the market price will fall lower again. If that happens then we have to wait longer until the market price is normal again. And I do not want to take risks so once the market price is above the purchase price, then that's when the right time to sell the coins I have.
The answer to this, in my opinion, is not in unit of time. Wait until you have gotten the profit based from the goals you have made. No one knows when and how much coins change their value in the future, so just wait and be patient.

it is worth to hold whenever you are trapped in a coin when a bloodbath happens,so you need to stick with your plan if you are confident enough to HOLD your quality coins its much better because you will be rewarded when the market has recovered your losses will be minimal if you asked me.

it depends only on you! if you are satisfied with the amount of profit and the current value of the coin, then sell or buy! your right to decide!

I completely agree with you. You need to sell only when you are satisfied with your profit, and do not panic because of the growth or fall in prices.

Wait a year, until you lose nothing. I know many who sold before the end of 2017. They were very upset.

Depending on the market and the price of what you wanna sell, i don't think you are gonna sell at a loss. When the coin is at it s high you can sell and get profit although you would have to wait for that to happen. It sometimes might takes months, years or just a few weeks.

Hold as long as possible, especially now that its Bitcoin we are talking about, there is lots of negativity that had been going on prior to the dip  it has since recovered and is struggling to regain full value. its not however it should d be ideally but the market is still stabilizing  therefore you might want to hold a little longer to attract value on your coin. The red zone might take time but it certainly doesnt last forever so keep eye on that coin and hold it. sell only when you have to

Bitcoin keep on falling down  and no sign of raising. How long can we keep holding?
Depends on how much profit u want to gain from it. Definitely wait till you make more than you have invested. Bitcoin will go up again, even if it going down now. Thats how market works.

it all depends how you manage your finances, if you buy at a very cheap price and now earn a profit then I suggest to sell but if you lose a lot of money you should hold for a long time

It depends on the price and strategy. But it is all about patience! Most projects in the field of crypto are long-term investments. Wait until the price will increase and sell when it is more profitable. Set your own certain limit and do not be too greedy.

For Bitcoin id advise that you wait as long as possible, This is BTC we are talking about and we have seen its ability to always recover  and overcomes obstacles, every coin had been affected , there is currently an upward trend as we are entering the green zone, i suggest you hold long enough for the value to gain the most it can then you can sell if you so wish, BTC still have lots to offer as a cryptocurrency and id rather you hold it and not sell

There is actually no specific date to sell a coin. You can only sell, when you feel you've made your profit and you are satisfied with it. The real problem now is how soon you make your gains. Dealing with Cryptos could be tricky, if you just gamble on it. It is very important to understand the nitty gritty of what crypto is all about and have a settled understanding of the fact that it is not a get rich fast business.

Investing in any coin, you have to hold at least 50% information about the coin, also, ask questions from reliable sources, conduct personal researches, understand your tables before you put in your funds. So, it is possible you hold for months before you get your desired profit, and in some cases you only need to wait for few weeks and you'll get a worthy profit, then you can sell, putting excessive want of profit behind.

I sell only if I make a profit, I can not trade with a profit in a falling market.
so I am a long-term investor.

onfirm! If you bought at a low price, now is the time to sell! And if you buy close to this price you need to wait! In General, you need to choose a strategy! And the strategy depends on how much you have free Finance, free time! And how quickly you need income! All in total will let you understand how to act!

It is true Bitcoin has proved itself many times.. But advising a long term hold.. is not something so easy to practice. The long term all of a sudden might be up to 6months or a year. So, for someone to sell BTC, just make sure you have bought on the low and you are selling on the high, even if the increase is not more than 5% ... And you practice what I call turnover. That is, you wait for a new low and buy before you sell  on a new high. This is not easy too, as one needs to be serious with graph analysis.

That's true. Ethereum came to this price not immediately, but for several years. But many people now think that they will get 100 dollars for a coin.

You will not for a long period of time to sell your coins , only that you will monitor the price value of coins in the market, in time when the market turns greener then you can sell your coins , but when you look that the price value is going down you can hold your coins in your wallet and wait for the right time.

Do not sell till the price will not normalize. The main rule of investor - do not sell at a loss or do not sell below the price you bought. This rule worked on a crypto market last year and it works now

Just be patient, do not be in a hurry if you want something worthwhile. Crypto is now also experiencing a much better improvement from the previous state. Chances are you will soon be able to sell your coins if you are satisfied with the benefits you make.

Hold as long as you can because i do believe bitcoin is going to keep increase its value,as the supply is limited, altcoins could have been a better way to earn more bitcoin, which is why we should be more focus on how are we going to get more bitcoins with the help of altcoin trading,or ICO investments because that is our main goal.
