Do you continue hodling or sell? A lot of people say to hold no matter what happens and I'm not advocating daytrading but I think in a situation like this, it'd be advantageous to sell.

Thoughts? What would you do?

I'd sell because a correction will occur
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I usually sell some of these coins. Due to the current market conditions, if a coin makes +40 percent, I usually sell 60 percent of all my savings, and if it goes above +100 percent, I sell everything. It is usually so, that a coin pumps for 2 days and than goes down.

In this case, I would sell and invest these funds in other coins that seem to me the most promising!

Of course it is better to sell and take profits just coins cannot forever be so expensive in value. Always after such a growth there is an inevitable fall sometimes so deep that you pause that it would be better not to. Now in such a market it is almost impossible to guess which coin will give such a profit and no one will say about it in advance.

I would sell everything, if a coin gets 50-60 percent during the night. On such a market it is very hard to make 200-500 percent profit. On the falling market the best strategy is to make 30-60 percent on every coin and to sell it.

If that happens to me then the steps I will take to sell all of these assets because they have experienced a very high increase even though we still believe in coins then we can buy them again after we make a sale and wait a while then the price will fall again that's where we will buy coins. One fundamental thing that happens is better to prioritize reality than expectations.

What happens if you sell it, and it immediately increases in the days that followed. Will you buy them at a higher price than you sold?

I think that many people would have sold all those coins. I would have sold them even if the growth was about 20% and I think I would be right. Now it is really a gift and I do not understand how you can miss such opportunities earnings

It had happened to me once. I had a few thousand Deep Onion coins and in a month or so, it went up by 1,000%. I was too greedy back then and I didn't sold any of the coins. But after that the prices crashed.

They have chances if the coin that I have increase the value more than 40 percent  maybe I will sell it or I will  hold it fot few more weeks or months depends of the potential of the coin .  But mostly if that happen a lot of people for sure will sell they coin that they have because they want more profit.

I will sell this coin as soon as I have the chance. It seems to me that this is the best scenario, and in addition such growth is very rare. I would never miss such a gift. This height is incredibly cool

I may sell but in a position whereby the increase is at level of my initial money investment or above, a lot of coin have dipped so much that any increase amount to nothing compare to what someone will lose selling because of the 200% increase which could not even cover initial investment.

Ideally, if that happens then we should do either full or partial profit booking. But in reality it is very difficult to do something like that. The trend is to keep the coins and hope for even bigger profits.

No matter how good the coin is. If a coin rises more than 200% in one night.I'll sell it because sometime aggressively rising coins drops hard too, this is called a correction.

under the current state of the cryptocurrency market, there are such coins that show a good percentage of price growth, But these indicators may still be very far from the ico price of the company.

Guys, I evaluate coin for own goals. If I think that this price is enough for me then I will fix the price and close order. And on the current market, I think that it's better to have more free BTC for fast liquidity. And aggressive trading today give more then passive investment

Crypto coins changed in pump and dump coin.

Its not what it was in 2015 or 2016. Most investors with money lost there trust.

They take there profits in december and januari when there was a hype and never looked back.

Maybe they will come back by another huge dump in 2019.

And slowly after the halving of bitcoin when the price goes up they will sell again.

Real crypto investors solds there coins after the hype for 10x 50x and 100x.

They dumped there coins to the holders of now.

Buying real estate and renting it is more profitable. Today you can buy a coin for $1 tomorrow you can lose 50% of your money.
There is no guaranty that you will ever get your money back. Its not what it was in 2015-2016.

Look how many ico's today there is on the market. Everyone create a token or coin to make money and get millionaire so fast as possible.
Developers stealing peoples money today with crypto.

When the coin reaches over 70% then this should be better if we sell our coins. With that percentage increase, I think it would be a big gain for a coin since the current market at the bearish condition.

I just need the value of them to rise above 20% is that I was thinking of selling to take profits, as the market is now down, if we choose the right potential coin will be very difficult and can only Light growth, if growth is over 20% is too good for us not too ambitious to easily fail

Now, if the price increases by 40–200%, then we need to take profits. Time passed when we could expect such a percentage of profit every week, and then again and again. Maybe this time will ever come back.
