The Nuka Token Project

My name is Heihachiro Kianzaki, a 27 year-old games developer with a dream: create a great video game!
I'm aware of the fact that producing a video game is a complex process involving different tasks and that it requires a high level of expertise.

In order to do a proper job, I have planned all sub-tasks in advance and I have estimated a budget of around 100,000-150,000$.
Since the ICO "ecosystem" is attracting a huge amount of attention around the world nowadays and it seems to be the best option to reach potential investors, I decided to give it a try!

The Game

I can anticipate a few things about the game I have in mind.
The game is inspired to the good-old "Beat ‘em up" games from eighties
and it will see the players trying to save the world from an alien threat.
There will be 15 levels, 15 playable characters, vehicles, enemies
(including mini-bosses, and level bosses)...a lot of attention to details and a huge amount of adrenaline and fun!

Fundraising Details

Start Time: March 31th, 2018 at 6:00 P.M. UTC
End Time: April, 21th, 2018 at 6:00 PM UTC
Token platform: Ethereum
Token Type: ERC20 (see contract available on GitHub https://github.com/nukatoken)

Token fundraising target amount:
100.000-150.000$ but there is no actual cap

To provide some sort of proof of concept about the game, I have uploaded eight images about the very first drafty and conceptual mockups.
Note that these are not the final versions and the final result could differ from what you'll see in the images, depending by the design process and the development of the graphic of the game.

Now there are a lot of different games. The competition is very large. How can you stand out from thousands of cult games? Do I understand correctly that the game will use Japanese cartoonishness? In Europe, they do not like her.

thank you for your post. No, I did not mention any sort of Japanese cartoonishness.
I believe you could refer more to Cadillacs and Dinosaurs. But, in the upcoming weeks I should be able to post some artworks.

Sorry for that question, i just can't figure it out since there are too many online games now that are existing, there are some crypto-related projects but they created a crypto token that can be use to buy game features.

I will definitely try to take arrangements with exchangers in order to allow for token trading. Note that Nuka Tokens are ERC20 and I have created them compliant to that standard just for this reason.
Additionally, the price I set for the Nuka Tokens is very cheap (less than 0,01$) so their value can practically only increase.

I'm thinking of selling redeem codes for DLC contents in exchange of a fixed amount of Nuka Tokens. This way, one who get the tokens at early stage will have a bonus
number of tokens that will gain value, especially if the game will be successful. For example, one could sell Nuka Tokens to somebody willing to buy a DLC.

If you take a look to my LinkedIn profile, you will see that I have already done some experiences in this business.
I have also worked to some video games but I was not mentioned in the credits as my contribution was not as relevant as I wanted.
But that was surely a valuable experience. Indeed, I had the chance to have a glance of how video games are designed and how the necessary tasks are planned in advance.
For what concerns your absolutely right curiosity, I will publish some artworks hoping that they will give you an idea of the final result.

I wrote on the website that participating to the ICO would have granted investors free and exclusive game contents, and, with a minimum contribution, a free copy of the game. The tokens could also be used to buy DLC contents such as, new gears, characters, and maybe levels (that depends on how much contents I'll be able to create, and the ICO result).

On top of that, those type of games are missing a lot from todays video game landscape. A proper old-style Beat 'em up with updated graphic content and new ideas could meet the taste of many players.

When I chose the name of the project I came up with Nuka for many reasons:
- Nuka Cola/Caps (from Fallout, a game I really enjoyed)
- Nuclear radiation causing mutations in living beings that could turn into feral enemies
- An apocalittical future where all nations are about to start a global nuclear war. The things are going so bad that even aliens are interested in it, due to the possible consequences to other planets...but I'm already telling too much 
- superpowers given by exposure to radiations (a classic)

I understand your intent by saying that token will be cheap and will increase in value, but over 46% of 2017's ICO token completely failed. Meaning the value dropped to nothing. Additionally, the cost to list on exchanges varies from 25k to near 1m, which is a high percentage of what you are asking for development fees.

Are you saying the DLC you are developing will require the purchase of Nuka tokens and vice versa?
