Read this several minutes ago. We must be vigilant on what we are investing and must do some research or study first if the project that we wanted to join is legit or not. So sad that there are some ICOs who are just making money for their own sake. Because of this issues, people becomes scared of cryptocurrencies and thinks that other cryptos that are legit are scams too.

Some ico? the word "some" isn't fit for that because most of ICO is really scam. Crypto is just for risk takers and not for afraid people. To prevent from getting scammed you should really be careful on investing especially in ICO but if you got it right, that's a big profit.

ICO is a risky investment to start with, you woudn't know what will happen a day or a week after the main ICO sales date, even reaching its soft cap there is no  100% guarantee that it will bloom on the exchange, so you have ti weight them yourself before betting all your money!

Human beings are selfish. Any financial industry, no matter how fair it is, but its purpose is to make money. The saddest thing this year is that many seemingly good ICO projects have disappeared!

in my opinion, if you want investment, you really have to be more careful and you should be able to see where you want to invest and see from the team and the development they want to develop.

I once experienced a loss when I made a mistake by taking part in an ICO scam, when I was always careful because I did not repeat a bad experience for the second time, I prefer to fight Cyrpto instead of attending the ICO. Hopefully in the future there will be no more sco ico that is detrimental to many people

i think you should not spend all your money all in one basket, that is what makes investing dangerous. you should invest and not gamble. but that I mean you should study the market, choose one or two commodities to start with and check them closely.  also your choices should be made on informative decisions and not based on emotions. also you should learn from your mistakes so that you don't make the same ones again. This is why its good to talk to an expert before you start.

I noticed how people are perfectly aware of the risks, and how to seperate scams from legit sites and investment options, but that's not the thing anymore. The main point of importance is that people nowadays knowingly invest in obvious scams, because they think they are early enough to profit before the site or service goes down. How do you combat that?

We really need to be careful on what we are investing. Don't waste your money in some shit cryptocurrency. Always research about the project and the team of the coin that you're interested. It is okay to waste your time researching about it because losing some money is very hard to regain especially when you are only a beginner here in the world of cryptocurrency. Don't invest in some hype coin. Always do your own research because it is always the best way to gain some profit.

In fact, very few people know how to research about an ICO. Almost them invest in ICO because of the advice from other people (what we called "hype")

It's true and hype bring more people to invest on ICO but of course that hype only at good project, not at trash project. Actually i joined some telegram group about these ICOs things and i always join a pool to invest an ICO and most of them are a good project. With the current situation on crypto market, is a bit hard though to find a good project nowdays.

And this "hype" must be gauged particularly those referring types.. It might be a pyramid / ponzi scam

I don't think there's any investor out there who would put his/her money into a project without properly researching on it.
Always verify the credibility of any investment option. And also the potential to succeed.

Here's a good rule of thumb to follow when looking at what to invest:
1. The project must solve a problem(s) that affects lots of people.
2. The use of blockchain and cryptocurrency is essential for the solution to work.
3. There are evidence of a real team behind it (e.g. videos and photos of the team promoting the project, responsive when asked questions).

Absolutely absolutely, these are essential when you want to invest in Altcoin or any ICO. You need to pay attention to the basic rules so that you do not have to make the mistake of investing.

It is best to invest with the help of Neironix. This company specializes in investment risks and will help you to anticipate the risks associated with investing in the blockchain economy. The platform is designed for analysis and subsequent management of risks typical of projects with investments in projects with high degree of uncertainty.
