How is it they are still running there website as if nothing has happened?

   Its funny I contacted them over about two months ago about making a coin.

   The guy even called me back and explained the process on coin making and expenses.

   All while this while they knew what was gonna  go down too!

It looks like Medalcraft Mint, Inc is buying the dies Medallic Art mint may have so if you have done any projects with NWTM that appears to be where your dies will end up.

The Trustee has just filed a motion saying that he has accepted "stalking horse" bids from two companies for two sets of assets. A stalking horse bid means that the company making the offer must pay that amount, unless there is a higher bidder (and in exchange for guaranteeing a sale, the stalking horse bidder may get a small amount of money if they are outbid).

In this case, Industrial Assets Corp. and Maynards Industries USA LLC would be purchasing the majority of the NWTM assets for $1.95M. Medalcraft Mint, Inc. would buy the Medallic name, website, customer lists, dies, and related items for $700K. The companies would provide a deposit of $295,000.

Last minute cash grab, sorry hhamp but maybe they melted your coins down and are now selling the bullion.

Yep sorry about no reply in here.. It's been a nightmare trying to talk with any NWTM representative and I've been down and out with the flu.

So the latest update is:

There will be no coins. NWTM melted down the ones we sent back and they will not have the staff to remake them.

This has left me with two options and I will send out PM's to everyone affected by this.

1). People will get a full refund in the amount they paid back when they purchased their coins.
2). People will get a "free" coin from the upcoming release (currently working on having it made).

Option number 2 would help me out more as it gives no additional headaches when in this process (still fighting with NWTM to get our dies and refunds from them, no success so far). But I understand if people would want to go for option 1.

As said, I'll send out PM's to everyone affected by this and I hope you know how bad this entire situation makes me feel. This was definitely not what I wanted to do or how I wanted it to play out but it's beyond me.

If you paid with CC, you may still be able to dispute the charges.   That would get them to straighten things out right away Hhhampuz.

Good point rmc, i would go that route a cc was probably used so just call the cc company and tell them they didnt deliver the promised goods.

Sadly we did not pay with a cc.. Wire transfer was the payment option we used

Ugh, that sucks, hopefully they do the right thing.    Try and annoy them by phone as much as possible about it.   Leave a negative BBB review, and anywhere else where their company is listed.

I'm a happy owner of a couple of these and I'm curious how many siblings does it have.

As of now a total of 38 coins were sent back to the mint, never to be returned, bringing the total mintage to 122. Should add that to OP an dwill do shortly
