I'm not surprised. If there are thousands of users that looks normal to me. I reckon there aren't many people who would buy huge number of tickets, as it's too much of a gamble. Looking at last results, buying 9 mil of tickets would cost you 2.88 BTC and all you get is ~50% chance of winning 1.07 BTC.

Yea, a newbie account with 1 post won the lottery... right. We all believe you without a doubt.  You really think people will take that seriously? How about you give us some proof?

This is going to become a issue with some people and they will stop using the lottery. The last draws have shown people winning the lottery with very few tickets. If the assumption is made that more tickets will

increase your chances, it's not showing in the draw results for the last weeks.  I am one of the biggest supporters of this faucet, but the transparency of the lottery is still a problem. I know the site owner is

asking for suggestions to make it more transparent, without comprimising the identity of the users. So please contribute with some suggestions, if you have any.

i don't have idea of how you can do to prove who really won.  i don't think freebitcoin alters the result of lottery, have million of users, earn more euro with advertising, pay 2-3 btc a week not is a problem

Also, it is possible that newly registered forum users might post that they have won because in the email that users get when they win, I ask them to post directly in this thread to let others know. Previously, I just used to send them the link to the forum home page which could be why people did not post. FreeBitco.in gets a lot more traffic then this forum (according to alexa atleast) so it is very much possible that many users are not members of the forum.

I am open to suggestions on how the lottery could be made fairer.

Ah, I thought it was something like Bustabit, where they mix the hash with the clientSeed (decided by the provably fair seeding event) using hmac-sha256. They provide proof

It would be great if your lottery could provide a public hash that could be verified like that.   ... I also get what you saying with the refresh... it was just strange, and I

thought I would ask.
