Why do you that they are millionaires? Well, I'm not saying that's not possible. But it's very likely that they sold BTC that they earned at some point. It's also possible that they gambled it .
I use Freebitco.in consistently for 5 or 6 years and my total earnings from it is quite solid money. But it's not something very impressive. We aren't talking about millions or even hundreds thousands .
And yeah, sometimes it's interesting to read old posts with future predictions.

Indeed, his stats is good. He made decent amount from free rolls and haven't tried the multiply game. Moreover he have pretty good commission from referrals.

Why do you that they are millionaires? Well, I'm not saying that's not possible. But it's very likely that they sold BTC that they earned at some point. It's also possible that they gambled it .

Okay, that's fair. I shouldn't be assuming but they were at least presented with the opportunity to get an asset that is currently very valuable without doing anything for it 
And I did write that they are "probably millionaires". That's where the probability lies, if they sold their BTC or somehow lost it they can't profit from its price rising.
I've used the faucet myself but I got to the crypto game too late for that faucet to have any real impact in my life, economic-wise.

Yeah, in past faucets were really good way to accumulate Bitcoins, despite that already back then many people said it's waste of time. I remember Freebitco.in were giving 1000 Satoshi hourly, while now we get just 10 Satoshi. And there was many such generous faucets. Offcourse, Bitcoin was worth just $200-$300, so for example 0.1 Bitcoin from faucet weren't significant money. But I had some patience to hold my faucet earnings, so, now it's decent money.

I don't know when the website was launched but around the time that wetsuit joined the forum and started promoting it in late 2013 the price of Bitcoin was around $1,000. The price did go back down to the low 200's. Going by my statistics, the average I earned per year is around $40. If I earned $40 in the first year this faucet was around, then my BTC would have only gone up at most 100x in value and I would have $4000 which is a long way from being a millionaire.

I don't know, this amount you're referring to seems too low. And I'm assuming you're also discounting earning from referrals (even I have a few and I joined in late 2017). And interest earning. Also LTU_btc posted just before you that BTC was giving out 1000 sats per hour back in the day, and that's not even mentioning that this would have been their lowest reward. By using the faucet regularly, you can't not win some of the higher number rewards. And, of course, you'd have to calculate that the reward is depending on Bitcoin's price.

I admit that my comment about the users being millionaires may be aiming a bit too high and be dependent on other variables too, such as referral count and pure old luck.

I agree that hCAPTCHA is somewhat more bothersome than reCAPTCHA. Most of the time, you have to click on almost every box per page and they can still fail you.

I think reCaptcha is safer than hCaptcha and other alternatives. But I assume that Wheel of Fortune will be less abused by cheaters than faucet by cheaters, so there is less risk to use less secure captcha there.
Also, if I'm not mistaken, hCaptcha can be monetised, so there is another reason why Freebitco.in started to use it.

Majority of websites replacing reCaptcha with hCaptcha which lppking more secure option as compare with that. Anyway Wheel of Fortune is a good addition so it will attract a lot of users to become active again. I also tried that one it looking so impressive there is chance to win big prizes.

The OP of this thread was the official launch. BTC was actually below $200 at the time and originally it was "Win 1 BTC for free" but the 2013 bull run started within a few weeks so it got changed to win $200 in BTC. That's why the minimum prize was 1000 sats for a while.

It's an experiment to see if hCaptcha is any better than reCaptcha. Many people complain that they have difficulty with reCaptcha because Google makes a risk assessment on you and then set a difficulty level. If they think you are a bot they make it almost impossible for a human to solve it. There is also the issue of Google farming free work from you. When they ask you to identify images you are providing data to improve their image recognition software, identify a street sign and you just improved Google Maps etc. The most important issue with reCaptcha that we have is it is now completely ineffective at preventing bots abusing the faucet. There are now many reCaptcha solving software programs available.
