I'm posting this on behalf of my friend Nimrod Lehavi, who unfortunately cannot create a new bitcointalk user at this time.

He is the founder of ProxyCoins. It is a new P2P alternative to bitspend that lets you buy anything anywhere with Bitcoin, and easily obtain Bitcoin – www.proxycoins.com.

FYI - I am not affiliated with the project and Nimrod cannot reply to this thread right now because he can't create a bitcointalk user, so replies to questions here might take a while. You can try contacting on their Twitter in the meantime.

Please do not pm me, use ron@bitcoin.org.il instead

I'm glad somebody finally did this. There's a lot of potential in this model.

I've been preparing to build a site just like this (still might), I've got some suggestions if the site owner is interested.

With a little bit of marketing hopefully you should be able to get some volume, I think something like this is a better way to convert bitcoins than localbitcoins.com.
