This will be an negative effect to those who understand to How to buy and sell Crypto but to those Who really understand the blockchain well on how it functions then this news is just a story where an application refuse to use bitcoin as a payment but in less time they will again use it, what a story. Reddit is not to famous as a social media because only few knows it, but is indeed Helpful as i say, marketings of crypto, reddit is also used. However, this is not a big deal. if Crypto Price increase and pumps back into 80-90% for sure social medias will run to it again.

Like other social media Reddit is also getting back from BTC. I think it is not a good decision by Reddit. They have seen BTC and we also. And Reddit would lose several gold user for this kind of initiative.  Though I hope they will change their decision once BTC come on its golden age.

It might also be the start of Reddit to follow the example of other social media platforms ditching crypto ads, because the reasons they are summing up are vague and don't make much sense. From there I wouldn't be surprised to see Reddit in the coming weeks or months announce that they will no longer allow crypto ads to be displayed. It's a chain reaction that has been triggered by the main social media platforms, and the smaller fishes follow later on. I hope I'm wrong of course, and that not only Reddit, but also other services who dropped Bitcoin as payment option to come back once lightning network is fully deployed. Time will tell....

Why should we care about reddit dropping the payments. How many people use this option every month? How much in Bitcoin is being paid? If I had to guess it would be less than $10000 USD every month in Bitcoin donations, although I might be wrong. Companies like Bitmain are processing orders worth more than that every day.

Damn, first stripe, then reddit. This kind of sucks. Especially from a forward thinking website like reddit I would not expect this.
