no theres no set of rules to be followed on crypto trading/investing . we can always do what we like to do and its up to you on what would you like to do with your coins . diversify is only optional if you want something new aside from hodling trading/investing alone . i myself prefer to stick on one crypto because i believe that i can always earn a lot of profit if i will use all my capital in a single type of crypto when compared to diversifying it into different kinds which is not guarantee to give you a return .
