Probably NANO? Due to it's zero fees and fast transaction speed. I really don't know how unsecure and centralized it is though, so I'd personally will still surely stick with bitcoin. Just wait for bitcoin's lightning network to take up adoption.

I think Litecoin may be the best option because their transaction fees are very less and transactions are quite fast.

You can also try like waves or NEM for small amount transactions. Waves is the fastest network but devs are still developing this product features.

Never heard of the Dogecoin? Haha. That would be the best coin for the mircopayments. I mean it's worth it because the fees are almost negligible and its purpose is to tip others. You can buy huge quantity with few bucks and then make the equivalent payments later on.

ETH and LTC are preferable too but they are costly, not easy to maintain as they keep flctuating a lot and over the time the value might drop heavily for them. However coins like DOGE are stable because they already very low in the value. So try that one.

It doesn't matter what has the lowest fees, it matters who's going to accept it. If you use some random crypto with low fees you're just going to have to exchange it after the fact and then incur fees when you exchange, so it means what's going to get you the best bang for your buck and for your time (because time is money). So I would always just stick with ETH and BTC as the fees are falling and you could actually use those.

I am sure IOTA is the best crypto for micropayments. Micropayments in most crypto-currencies face high commissions and long time for confirmation of transactions. In the blockchain, verification is completely separated from users, so you have to pay commissions to the miners or share holders. In IOTA, there is no such division, it is a completely self-sustaining network. There are no miners, and users themselves confirm the transactions. There are no commissions for transactions, which makes it possible to conduct micropayments in real time.

An ideal cryptocurrency for micropayments would be something which offers very low or even zero fees on transactions. Most of the cryptos already offer this but among top 100 coins, I would place my bets on IOTA and Stellar. Both of these are quick on the confirmations with fast blocks compared to our traditional biggies like Bitcoin and Ethereum and micropayments is all about getting the first confirmation as soon as possible.

I think these are basically the cryptocurrencies made for micropayment:

- Ripple
- Nano
- Tron
- EOS
- IOTA

These altcoins are an extremely fast coin with almost zero transaction fees, if not completely free.
