Halong Mining Dragonmint Miner Legit or not! Post orders to see if scam!!!

The purpose of this thread is to determine weather or not the Halong Dragonmint miners are legit or not. So far absolutely NO ONE has been verified to receive the miner or tracking for shipment and we need to get to the bottom of this. According to Halong the miners started shipping on 03/22/2018 and so far only 1 unknown person on Twitter has received his by going directly to the factory (The location of the factory is unknown so how the fuck did he know where to go?). Please reply with the order date, the miner you purchased and weather or not if you have received any shipping information or if your order shows something different other then processing at halongmining.com.

So, you placed your order March 6th? But they were supposed to ship end of March? Inow i think they're saying April 5th-7th.

I hope this works out for you. I think the miners themselves are real, bc you can see the hashrate on the network (unless that's Obelisk/bitmain).

PLEASE.ylpkm2, let us know if/when you get any updates / waybills / tracking info from Dragonmint.

From Luxor mining pool I can confirm that Halong DragonMint are real. I've seen some in person and we're receiving hashrate from them.

I suspect Halong has other issues,but that they will provide gear.

Ordered (4) B29s on March 10. They promised to ship by the end March but they haven’t arrived and no tracking number is available.  Has anyone else received theirs?

Seems really unprofessional for them to miss deadlines by this much already. More than that, what makes it even worse is that every day they delay is less profit and higher risk for miners because difficulty is growing daily.

I dont know about Halong Mining Dragonmint Miner, but I read an article, it quoted "Despite these endorsements, Cobra-Bitcoin — who co-owns Bitcoin.org and BitcoinTalk — has repeatedly said that he believes Halong Mining is a scam and that the Dragonmint T1 is really just a rebranded device actually manufactured by Innosilicon. Cobra has also refused to walk back these accusations now that the company has begun shipping miners to customers."

At this point the best reason for the delay is that they are mining with the B29s until profitability goes way down before shipping them to customers. That is why only the T1s are shipping and not B29s. It’s purely economics for them.

Yesterday, I received 3 b29s. However ordered and paid 5 pieces. It looks like they have quantity issues or just want to mine on them to take bigger profit. Not too fair to their customers given the price and risk taken by the first batch buyers..

i also got 2 B52, one has an temperature problem and i found out one exhaust fan didnt pull enough air out of the unit, so it heated up to 100°C on the chips and then the hashboards "died". now im will contact myrig and i hope they send me a new fan soon

Yes, b29 look the same as bitmain asics and have other (myrig) apw.

yeah still waiting for two pieces, dhl tracking says its in germany but still not here. phoning with dhl support says they didnt even picked it up..but tracking says its in germany. very tracking history also with strange informations.

halong will investgate.. very strange

I finally got my b29 I ordered and I must say it is the nicest asic miner I've seen. It is smaller then the antminers and a lot quieter too. The power supply is also very nice because they give you a little bit extra cable length unlike bitmain's power supplies. The GUI is also very nice and allows for automatic firmware updating along with a built in tuning feature. I wish they allowed for some manual overclocks but they said they will be adding new features to their software in the near future.

I contacted them more than once and they confirmed that they had not yet brought my ASIC to the post! And promised to send it as soon as possible...
It turns out I paid 10,500 dollars for a device that I can now buy for 6800 dollars from Innosilicon!
I do not recommend cooperation with Halong Miner. They are scammers

Can you please post a pic of your device. There seems to be some fake accounts created by Halong on Twitter and elsewhere. So far, there are no confirmed B29’s by real people other than one reviewer of a demo model and one pool operator. We still have not received our order.

they lost the complete trust from my company. they loose a very big potential customer for the future!!

haha sure "high quality". if you have them in hands you realize it feels cheap. did you ever had the psu in your hands? its working but the feeling is very very cheap.
does your fan runs "round" without wobling? all fans of my b52 are wobbling and one even was broken after 1 day usage. the whole unit vibrates like hell.

Yes as soon as I get home I will take some pics and post them. I also ordered 1 of the Innosilicon miners and I'm going to do a post of side by side comparison along with the hashboards to see if they are indeed the exact same miners. I should be getting my D9 sometime next week as soon as they ship it today or Monday.

Well, today finally received last B29 two units from first March batch. At least received them and Halong sent few units more as an excuse. Also, I bought the Innosilicon's Decred Masters and they are the exact copy of B29, even have the same user interface.
